I had heard the blue blood until oxygen thing. I don't recall where or for how long that I believed it, but it was definitely a thing that seeped into my brain somehow.
The babysitter is sick today so G is staying with the ILs today. I hope they all survive.
I online shop so much now that I have G to deal with that it is ridiculous. I literally ordered all of our Christmas gifts online and I have gotten really good at ordering certain groceries online so I have things in hand, like toilet paper, diapers etc.

Blue blood...I think I vaguely remember something in elementary school about that. Then a kid whose dad was a doctor dispelled that myth.
Online is the only way to shop, unless it's the clothing section at Target Department stores stress me out. I went to Von Maur with DH a couple weeks ago, and felt so out of place. Live piano music, helpful clerks in suits and ties...nope. This is not my store.
@giamia923, I hope they accept your offer!
jt2378 yikes taxes are coming up fast. Not sure if DH has done ours yet...
N40Mom glad you had a good visit with family. About the grass, we've never done seed. But a couple years ago, the gas company tore up our front yard to replace gas lines but never re-seeded. We had a completely bald strip across the front. We put a garden in the back the same year, so we used a manual sod-cutter to pull up strips of grass from the back and lay them in the front. Miraculously it worked (we had a really wet summer), and now you can't tell the difference. At this house, we have a dead patch in the back where previous tenants had a pool. We'll seed there, but no idea how it will do heading into spring/summer.
I found a refresher course via online video conference that will allow me to transfer my certifications here. I'm kicking myself for ever letting my national certs lapse, but excited to have a plan to get it back so I can start looking for a job. Here's hoping I can pass the exams again in a month!

2.5 hours to go! I had subway for lunch so starting to feel slightly human again. Yes my stomach was in a shambles from 4 IPAs, i'm such a lightweight these days.
I put dude down for his nap at 12:15--I just got him to sleep. He did the same thing yesterday. Is he going to stop napping???!!! I can't handle no nap!!!!!!!
Noooooo, I can't comprehend this nor do I want to, no naps cannot be in the near future
anniebn, I'm sorry, that is rough, I'm sure the working nights sucks and is hard on your family. I hope you can all spend some quality time together soon and things start to get back on track
