I have been awake for two hours for no good reason. I can't get comfortable to fall back asleep. This is very unlikely me. I can be a light sleeper, but I'm also a fast sleeper.
This should be fun by about 9 am when I'm falling asleep at work.

G LOVES the keyboard and mouse too jt2378. He will climb into the computer chair to "work" on it. It can certainly get pretty annoying though when you actually need to use it.
spacedcadet, poor G, hope he feels better soon. Maybe teeth? How high is his fever?
It was 100 with the ear thermometer this morning and it has been as high as 101.7 that I have seen. He isn't really eating much. He mostly just wants milk.

Sorry you feel blah @giamia923 doglover31 I dragged my butt to work out this morning too. Not fun but feels great after! spacedcadet fx G has a swift recovery!

On lunch. Figured everything out for my meetings this week and I have administrators to cover the absences so back to a much more manageable stress level. Didn't get to talk to DH yesterday at all so hoping we will get to tonight at some point. The girls are having a rough time adjusting to him not being here and daycare drop offs are getting harder because of it.

spacedcadet , have you alternated Tylenol and Motrin at all? When J had a fever for a few days the only way we could get it to break was to switch from Tylenol to Motrin.
I have been alternating. I gave him Tylenol when he woke up around 12:30am and it had run out by this morning.

FYI, the play all day Elmo is on sale on Amazon and apparently target too for 23.49 or something. We got it for G a few months ago and he loves it. I just ordered a couple more to give as gifts.
N40Mom, yes all of it, well maybe not makeup but hair and clothes are both fug
What is your style? What are you looking for? What is your hair texture? Do you want some ideas? Do you have a hair stylist? Can you make an appt somewhere?

Thats the thing, I feel like I don't have much style, I wear a ton of nice jewelry and dressy scarfs I guess but for clothes its mostly a fitted long sleeve shirt, cardigan and whatever pants I have been wearing for a million years. I did just recently start wearing the skinny style and have a couple of pairs. My hair is long, straight and straggly. It is on the thinner side. I have done shoulder length with longer layers and it looks okay but just don't have time to really style it. I do have a hairdresser, I have just been so damn lazy!
ETA: thanks spacedcadet, feel free to send me alllll the ideas, lol

Ok be prepared. I am going to probably write you a novel in a bit but I am very plain style wise and I will tell you what I have tried to do to "branch out" over the years. I have tried several different hair styles as that usually helps me when I feel in a funk appearance wise. I used to only get my hair done every six months or so so I would always research to find something new either with cut or color. I even colored my hair violet once. Frankly in would just send you to my Pinterest page if it didn't have identifying info on it because I also have thin mostly straight hair. I can send you some links and stuff when I have some time. It might be tomorrow though.

jt2378 I feel you. I feel like I need to go on a shopping spree, but money is needed for that. I also wish I could get my hair cut and styled. But I'm so lazy with doing it.

jt2378 - Hair - first you need to go ahead and get an appt. harder to back out that way. . I made an effort when we moved to be more consistent with getting my hair done so I would try to go every 8 weeks. It is easier for me to make the next appt while I am there otherwise I am terrible about calling and going in. Getting pregnant and have a kid put a dent in this plan but I am starting to get back on track with it.
As far as styling I am super lazy/ unskilled so I go for relatively simple cuts. I really like bobs and there is a lot of variation in what you do with them. I have a long face so I try to break it up with some framing layers or I have done some longer side swept type bangs. I usually just brush my hair as I'm drying it to kind of shape? It and then run a staighten through it to smooth it out a bit. Obviously your stylist can help you better with what will look good and also be easy to deal with. Here are a few ideas that I like in general. You don't need to go as short as some of these obvs. Any of them could be shoulder length or a bit longer.
