Sending all the good luck vibes ashleymm197! ~~~~~~~~~~~~
wildflower810 So sorry about your day. I had to deal with the SSA this week and I thought it was completely ridiculous - but your day was infinitely insane!
I'm super scared about my baby getting sick, and DH validated my fears tonight. We have a trip planned in a few weeks (flying), and he suggested that I stay home with the baby. Is that paranoid? Would you go or stay?
wildflower810 - sorry about your rotten day. ashleymm197 - glad you got home safely and your week is now over. Fingers crossed that you get the position.
After eating all day and not letting me pump, LO had a massive poopsplosion when she finally let me put her down long enough to pump. Kid, give mom a break!

Taco bell was a burrito that was consumed in about 5 giant bites while sitting in the backseat of my car holding a binky in LO's mouth. If I wasn't constantly mindful of the need to eat and keep my caloric intake up for his sake, I wouldn't have bothered to stop!
I came home from that whole snafu to find nothing less than a bill for my breast pump in the mail. Apparently my insurance "didn't have it on file" that I was pregnant. So guess who I get to call first thing Monday morning? :head desk: Of course they got zero bills for any OB stuff because we just wrote a check to my MW and called it good. Insurance would have done nothing for her and we hadn't met our deductible anyway. We didn't even get insurance coverage until 3 weeks before M arrived.
I'm ODing on chocolate tonight... and my flabby belly is reminding me that I really need to quit it.
H said he would stuff diapers tonight. He's playing computer games instead. I'm not touching the pile and am having him do all the diaper changes. His method of dealing with a fussy baby is to put him in the swing and walk away. And I'm considering leaving M with H for two days straight while I go to a conference in March?

I came home early and may have told them that DH was not feeling well. He wasn't but is better now. So I left at lunch and took a good hour and a half long nap while DH fed DS a bottle. Now the woo girls are back next door. They are loud! I went over and nicely told them to quiet the eff down. I also texted my landlord and she called them. I get you want to party but not every freaking night! DS was so happy to see me. DH told him when I woke up that he had a surprise for him and he goes "look who's home early to snuggle" and DS smiled so big. Made leaving early so worth it.

Sorry to bump the Friday random but, zengal, this coming from the "future hermit", I'd maybe steer clear of an airplane. That's at least a few hours of enclosed space with God knows what in the air. But, I'm super paranoid now (and I hate flying anyways).
That's how I feel too HutterFlutter, and my husband voiced it before I did! I'd be missing his brother's wedding....
I'm sure they'd understand, especially with the recent measles outbreak. It sucks that it's a close family member whose wedding you're missing, but your baby comes first.
