Good morning! Hannah did not sleep in despite going to bed an hour and a half late. But DH got up with her so I got to sleep in a little. We are currently laying in my bed watching MMCH. No big plans for today, except we may go to the pool again today.

Hi. I got up early with the boy and let MH sleep in since he has to drive home today. Now I'm exhausted and would love to sneak in a nap before we have brunch with some friends.

I'm annoyed by all of the "these are the real heroes" posts on FB. My cousin just shared one about Americans not knowing the names of military heroes but knowing the names of Kardashians. I mean, yes? What's your point? It doesn't make me stupid and if there was a reality show about war heroes, id probably know their names. I just find those posts very high and mighty.
Plus, heroes are subjective. Maybe Kylie is my hero.
Afternoon! Evan is with my parents at their pool while H and I get stuff done around the house. So far we have done 5 loads of laundry and put them all away, swept up, adjusted Ben's car seat straps, mulched, and did some general organizing. Now Ben is sleeping on me while H is sanding down our front door so that he can paint it.
Later E needs a haircut, and we need to go food shopping. Exciting stuff.

We're skipping brunch bc our friends are on the beach already and they want us to come to the beach first, then out to eat, just making it a whole thing. H wants to get on the road fairly early so that really doesn't jive with our day.
Oh, cagoldi! I was thinking of you yesterday because we were going to go to the zoo but decided to go to an animal refuge instead. It was awesome!
We went to a neat one up in Maine. It was in this tiny town so we weren't really sure what to expect, but it turned out to be really well-done and Bradley loved it. It was all Maine wildlife (moose, bears, deer were his favorites, but they had various birds, smaller animals, etc)...I guess just animals that have been found injured or abandoned, and rehabilitated. It was very cool. So! if you are ever near Gray, Maine, it's worth checking out, haha.
@sing2phins I'm sorry your friend is moving further away. I lose friends frequently to moves and it sucks, for sure. @elvk583 B loves Thomas, too. There is a activity/sticker book at Target that was a hit on our recent plane trip.
I tried to post earlier but TCF ate it. More painting for us today. B is marathon-napping...we put him down just before 10 and he's still conked out at 12:30. I've convinced DH to tackle putting up beadboard paneling in our laundry room next week. I spend an inordinate amount of time in there so I would like it to be cuter than it is currently. I also want a new light fixture in there.

Happy Sunday. I'm relaxing at my dads house..he just washed my car and took off those stupid dealership license plate frames that have been driving me nuts. DH is at a game, and heading to my mom's to meet up with a cousin before heading home and facing reality. Blech.
My dad and SM successfully babysat last night and had a blast. They thought I said to leave the light on in the bedroom and somehow he went to sleep with it on, guess he was worn out.
We areally having jimmy john's for lunch but will need to cut back on our at least weekly visits since we just found out the owner is a big game hunter. Grrr.
My husband and I managed to clean our house top to bottom in two days. I consider this an accomplishment given most of it was done during nap times and after bed time. I hate cleaning. There was so much dust.
I am 13 weeks and showing. I was hoping to hold out a little longer but I busted out the maternity clothes today. I only have a few nice things to wear to work but am hoping to get away with a belly band for a while longer. Honestly though maternity pants are so much more comfortable. I have a few things picked out online, but my husband tells me I should wait until I get paid on Friday.
Seriously, though, it was so cute. The lady who runs it has been doing it for 20 years and I never knew it existed! She had horses, huge pigs, sheep, goats, tons of birds, cats and dogs, llamas, donkeys.....Evan was running around going "woah!!! Woah!!!".
