Just heard a few rumbles. And looking at the radar, we might be in for a loud night. I'm fully expecting my toddler to be in our bed at some point. Can't. Wait. For. Even. Less. Sleep.

We may need to make this its own check-in for this time of year lol. I guess they are predicting another round of severe weather Friday. Yesterday ended up almost mild by what they had been predicting.

I was really surprised at how tame yesterday ended up. I am not usually one to gather things in advance and be ready to go to the cellar but I did yesterday because of the way they were talking. Big waste of time!

Looks like we may just get some rain later tonight...otherwise nothing much has happened. I'm surprised that April is almost over and this is the first of the really bad weather concerns for our area. Usually we have all of April and May to worry about wind/flooding/tornadoes.

El Niño is making everything weird this year. We had more rain in CA this year than we have in probably the last 5 years, but my parents had almost no snow in MI, where they usually have tons. And all the warm water flooding the poor Great Barrier Reef. So sad.
Yeah, we had some severe thunderstorms here, but nothing major. Yesterday was the 5 year anniversary of all the tornadoes that ripped through AL in 2011. It was weird to see the weather gearing up to be bad like that day then clear out. Freaky for sure.
