**UPDATE**
MIL's post-op check-up went well and she's healing great. Confirmed no cancer in any organs or tissue removed. She'll be moving out and heading back to NH to tie up loose ends before looking to move closer to us.
Our little bud is doing SO much better and is now back home with us. No lasting damage, thank goodness. He's happy and bright again and we're checking in with his pedi this morning.
Thank you for all the well wishes!

My baby was admitted back to the hospital last night for RSV. :-( fortunately we were previously transferred to this hospital for his birth and he was in the nicu for a short while.
He really has the best care and the employees here are warm and wonderful. I'm glad he's getting better and in less pain. But I'm so sad he has to spend more days and nights away from us, I feel a little helpless to do more, and I feel sad and a little bit like a failure of a mom for not being able to prevent it despite being so careful and following all health care orders.
Also, our insurance screwed up and told us we owed over $76,000+ for his previous nicu care and today I found fraudulent activity on my credit card statement. Fortunately everything's going to be okay but geez. On our worst day, we're still luckier than many others and we try to be thankful that nothings worse than it is. But I'm ready. The dramatics can stop now.

Thank you for the well wishes, and sorry to be such a downer. We know things will get better, but it's just amazing to me the depth of love you can feel towards your child and how heartbreaking it is when they are bewildered and in pain. Even when you know all will eventually be well.
