NGKUR - Recommend some ballet flats to me!

Hi ladies!

So my silver Tory Burch Revas finally gave out last week (as in, actually developed a hole). It was a good 7 year run, but the time has come to replace them.  Sadly, that style Reva is no longer made, and while I've found a "like new" pair on Tradesy, they are still asking $125, and with DH still being out of a job, that's a lot to drop on a pair of shoes right now.  Anyone have any suggestions of nude or silver flats that they love?

I have some Jessica Simpson ones that retail like $70 but got on Poshmark for $25. They are SO comfortable. The exact style I have may be a little too particular and not versatile for an everyday flat, but if these are so comfy, I'm imagining that her other ballet flats may be worth trying on.



Stores seem to be spotty with how many styles of hers they carry, but Amazon has a few. Or consignment like Poshmark might be a good route!

I love all the ballet flats. I'm equal opportunity - I have Payless to Steve Madden to Toms.

I really liked Toms but the price is outrageous for the quality. I've always had to glue a sole back on or I got a hole within a few months. I wear and walk on shoes to death, though. Most shoes only last me a season.

My most recent ballet flats came from DSW. I forget the brand. They're doing well!

People like Tieks. They are also expensive but get good reviews.

Looks like I'll be heading to the mall at lunch - we have a DSW and a Macy's that carries a lot of Jessica Simpson. Thanks for the recs!

I love love love Sam Edelman flats, especially the Felicia line. Nordstrom has them in silver and nude and they are less expensive than Tieks, they are usually $100. They are so comfortable!!

TIEKS!!!!!!! Seriously they are life changing and the most comfortable thing I have ever put on my foot.

I haven't worn them, but I heard lucky brand has nice flats. I'm stalking this thread because I'm on the hunt as well.

But you can see my big toe pushing upwards in the front of the shoe. Is this a thing? Do I just have really weird big toes?

I second Tieks, they are SO well made, and beautiful. jellybeantoes based on your screen name I think it is just you kidding, I heard they stretch and form to your foot over time. Hopefully that is the case for you. Mine fit perfectly right out of the box, and I have nasty former dancer feet, ingrown toe nails and all (yuck!).

I love the Chloe flats, but if you are used to the substance you get from the Revas, you may want to try the feragamo flats and then hunt for them discounted? I'm recently obsessed with the laser cut varina.

My big toe shows a little bit on mine, but I don't really ever notice it.  I think its mostly because I have the light pink ones, so you can see it a little more.

I love Toms and mine have actually held up really well, but I only wear them when it's nice/warm out, which is not that many months around here. Depending on the size you wear, you may be able to fit into youth sizes, which are considerably cheaper than adult sizes. I just ordered a new pair in youth that were on sale for $27, and am ridiculous excited to get them in the mail.

joy, also, if your Toms are falling apart within just a few months, you might want to contact them. I don't have any experience making a claim, but I believe they have a one-year warranty on their shoes.

daisy818, I searched for Revas on Poshmark and found some for less than $100! Haven't looked at every listing for condition but on an already dangerous shopping day for me so far, I found some in my size that are $30!

They seem like nice enough company that will stand by their product. 

I have a pair of Oliberte that I love but the soles are already separating after 6 months. They have a lifetime warranty so I need to get in touch with them and see what they'll say. It will probably be easier to just glue them back on myself, but if your Toms are getting holes within months, I would think they would should replace them.
