cavewmn, not eating when that is all you can think about is totally torture.
H is dealing with friend drama and it is spilling over on to me. I am pretty tired of hearing about it but I know H needs to vent and get my opinion but I would just rather cut this friend loose because he is the type of person that does not have kids or a family and refuses to understand that those things come first for people who do.
I walked to my doctor's appointment this morning and now everything hurts more and I want to take a nap. But I am going to go buy myself a root beer, because it is delicious. Then I will eat my lunch and try to be less cranky.

DH is out of town until Thursday and I didn't feel like cooking dinner last night so I had a milkshake and a bowl of fruit. Now I need a plan for tonight. I hate cooking for one blahhhh.
cavewmn good luck with your test. It sounds awful.
I just threw up trying to eat a sandwich. I can't even with the accomplishments/to do thread, because I've done nothing and don't even have a working list of what to do. MH is working overnights and my kid has decided that this is the week she will begin the severe whining stage of her life. Has there been a discovery yet for how to put a pregnant woman into a medically induced coma for 3 months?
tikoberry99 sounds like a great dinner to me! I'm the same way if I'm on my own, it's too much effort to make a dinner for one person.
AW: I got the good news last night that I passed my GTT! I definitely breathed a sigh of relief when the nurse told me.
I'm exhausted today. Poor H has got not very good knees and did something to one during the maternity shoot last night. Around 2am I was woken up by the sound of him crying because it hurt so bad even after taking extra-strength Tylenol, so I got up and filled a bag of ice to wrap around it and put pillows under his leg. I'm just hoping that it feels a lot better when he wakes up or else we're going to have to get it checked out which is not an expense we need right now! Obviously I want to make sure he's okay, but I know it'd be a spendy appointment so we'll see.

Poor H! Can he take something with a little more power? Tylenol never does much for me in the way of pain, especially in my joints. Naproxen (Aleve) helps a lot for inflammation and pain for me.
I had my weekly dose of pregnancy brain last night. My friend texted me a pic of the envelope that she got her baby shower invitation with and said "Claire A____ got her invite!"
I thought she was being funny by referencing herself in third person so I was just like "awesome!" And then literally like 20 min later I came back to the text and was like OMG, I am a dipshit. She got married the same year that I did, so she is Claire L now. I wrote her maiden name on the invitation list without even thinking about it, since we have been friends since middle school.
I texted her back apologizing and blaming pregnancy brain. She thought it was funny and didn't care at all, but I was freaked for a second that I did something that she thought was disrespectful. Lol.
madamewaffles I had leftover prescription Tylenol from my surgery (I want to say 800mg) so that's what he took. Maybe we'll have to pick up some Aleve today!

Flame free Tuesday confession? DS has been fighting naps lately. I was exhausted after working on the nursery and really needed one today. He found the babies' pacifiers while we were in there and promised to take a good nap if I let him have one so I said eff it. He fell asleep within 5 mins and slept for two hours. Worth it.
glaze it was the last pose and wasn't even a big deal, just him kneeling in the grass next to my belly! I guess it was just a fluke thing (plus he had surgery on the knee back in HS and it acts up every now and then), so I'm hoping it just got irritated.
katelou ugh that sounds like you have your hands full moving with your H out of town! I'm glad that your parents are helping but I'm sure it's overwhelming still. Good luck! Don't overdo it!
housecarder hey, whatever works to get you some rest for a little while!
Just got back from my monthly appointment. Baby sounds great. I had ds with me and my midwife was running behind so I saw a physician instead. He was very nice, but told me baby was measuring huge and he wants to watch it closely.....not sure why though. When I asked me said it was because ds was big. He was 8 lbs 12 oz 22 inches. I didn't think that was too bad. Whatever.
I'm at bimonthly appointments now, which makes this seem all too real.
I could google, but lazy. When do we get the GBS swab? 32 weeks? I don't remember. Any one have theirs yet?

I feel like that was later? I don't remember. Is that the butt to front swab?

Sharing because it's hilarious. DS Utes clothes and since its me and him I let him run around in his undies most days. He was "helping" me in the nursery with my hammer and ran and got his tools. I turned around to find this make shift tool belt.
mcktymck that sucks he hurt it during the last picture! Hopefully it's just a fluke thing like you said and he's better soon! Did you get to see a preview of the pictures at all? You reminded me that I was going to have my sister take some of the kids and I. I should probably do that before I get too huge!
housecarder that's so cute and funny! Smart kid, undies makes a good tool belt!
