Do you have tattoos for your kids? Or plan to get any?

I'm definitely going to get tattoos for the twins... I'm just trying to decide what I want. I've been thinking about getting two American traditional sparrows, one more pink and one more blue (not so much traditional colors... but still...). I've always liked the look of the AT sparrows (and I have an AT tattoo already and LOVE it)... but when I looked up the meaning behind the sparrows, I felt like it was perfect for my kiddos. "Basically, a sparrow tattoo is associated with freedom, undying love and commitment to a single person. Loyalty, sacrifice and bonding are some other emotions that are associated with a sparrow tattoo."



I was thinking about one on each shoulder blade... but I have a 4 leaf clover tattoo that I got in Ireland in the middle of my upper back. I'm trying to decide if that would look weird. My other option is my left upper arm.



I'm just curious what tattoos other people have gotten for their kids.

I don't have any for my kids, but I do have a sparrow tattoo on my lower back left side lindy04aggie. I got it in Australia when I was 20. I love it though- it's small and I asked him to make it pink and blue, my favorite colors.

I do not but it's always been something I want to do. I just have no idea what.
My sister and bil just got a triple 8 (3 8s one within the other) because all 3 of their kids were born on the 8th of the month.

DH plans to get a tattoo also. He has two designs he is trying to decide on. My mind just keeps coming back to the meaning behind the sparrows.

I've thought about it, and would want to do something to incorporate our 2 angels. I won't do anything until we're done having kids though.

I've always wanted to get a tattoo of The Giving Tree with the quote, " she loved the little boy so much, even more than she loved herself." But I don't know what I would do for DD now and it seems weird to get one for DS and not for her.

I have a tattoo to commemorate my losses, a hummingbird with forget-me-nots. I want to add another flower or something to commemorate having W.

I have plans to get a memorial tattoo for my 2 angels.

I have a ring I wear on my right pinky for them. I want to get a small feather on the side of my hand that when I'm wearing my ring it looks like it is holding onto the ring.

I read a quote after my first mc that said "feathers appear when angels are near". It really rang true & stuck with me. Also there is a poem by Emily Dickinson called 'Hope is the thing with feathers' and obviously hope was what kept us trying thru our losses.

I don't have any tattoos. My mom would kill me, even though I'm old enough. I've always wanted to get the Taurus sign (my birth sign) but I'm way too chicken.

Im too indecisive to get a tattoo. I'd want a new design a few weeks later.
