Our latest top picks are: Amelia Maeve and Eleanor Pearl. (Possibly switch the middle names)
Even though they are more popular names, we don't know anyone in real life with them so their popularity is ok with us. I love them but DH says he loves them individually but he isn't sure about how them together. Thoughts/suggestions?
Eliza is still on our list but currently sitting much lower than these two.
Other names we like but can't/won't use/don't agree on: Charlotte Margaret Alexandra Isabella Elizabeth Lucille/Lucy Isla Any flower name Caroline Cecelia
I think they're gorgeous names and go really well together. Anelia and Eliza don't really go together, in my mind, mostly because Eliza is short for Elizabeth and Amelia isn't shortened.
There is something a bit sing-songy about Amelia Maeve to my ear, but other than that they sound fine. I don't know. I guess I just feel like your first DD has such an outstandingly beautiful name and I'm not personally as excited about either of these (although my excitement isn't really a requirement). Because I like making lists (although these will probably be mostly repeats from the last post, and I also don't remember all the rules from your first post):
I think Amelia Maeve and Eleanor Pearl sound very balanced and I wouldn't swap the middle names or anything like that. I love some of the names on your long list more, but I think these two choices are solid and go well enough together.

Out of curiosity, how is Maeve pronounced?
I love your name choices, they are classic and beautiful! . And they are both strong, historical figures of you look at Amelia Earhart and Elenore Roosevelt.
I'm not a fan of either. Not that they aren't good names but with a great aunt Eleanor I guess there are some vintage names that I am still not on board with. I really like Maeve. I'm more a fan of Nora or Nina than Eleanor. Maybe the fact they both start with vowels is what your H means by not going together.
Sort of vintagey names to suggest: Stella Etta Evelyn Gwendolyn Sylvia

Thanks for the suggestions! Evelyn and Sylvie were on my long list.
