Mother's Day

At DC they made a card where he had to tell them things about me and a painting of his feet as a butterfly. It's super sweet and cute!

We aren't doing anything this weekend. We are finishing (hopefully) our crown molding and MIL is watching the boys. I told H that I get a make-up day

I am hoping for a nap (I work until midnight on Saturday), some ice cream and a walk with the family. I don't really want to do much else on Sunday- a lazy day with the kids is perfect!

Nothing made by the LOs yet but the babysitter usually does something sweet which is always appreciated. I may have to edit this on Sunday!

They made a bunch of stuff at daycare for mom's (cards, potted plants, bookmarkers and a you are my sunshine picture), but DD decided it was "mine" and wouldn't give it to me. Eventually she did though, it was cute.

Daycare made a cute bag with DD#2's footprints made into a butterfly and it says "my heart flutters for you".

I don't know yet what we are doing. My first Mother's Day we did a picnic and park, but last year I had bad morning sickness and we didn't do anything. I'd like to do the zoo or something. We'll see.

DH took the kids to pick out flowers for me, so I got that.

Depending on the weather, we'll be hanging out at a local botanical garden, which will be having food trucks, make & take crafts for the DD, and some other cool stuff.

Nothing planned yet! I'm hoping for a nice, calm day with just DH and the girls.

I'm a SAHM so nothing made for me... I'm the only one organizing crafts around here. Haha. DH did buy me Keith Urban tickets from the kids though. He was so excited that he told me 2 days ago. Lol.

I did that last year. I never want a gift anyways so I really just wanted to see if he would remember (he did the day before when his brother text him to make sure to remember!)
