The problem with taking Mother's Day off from chores is that they're all just waiting for you the next day. At least dh did dishes, but I've got a mountain of laundry staring at me.
Wishing all you ladies happy toddlers and hot coffee on this Monday morning!
ashlantic That stinks about the laundry! I don't let DH near the laundry because he's not very good at knowing what not to dry or where to put things up (hanging vs folded). I did make him help hang up clothes yesterday afternoon but my load of whites is still in the dryer. Guess I'll be doing that tonight!

ashlantic at our house we could have the 2am toddler energy drink (who is somehow still wide awake at 6am too) Sorry about your laundry! I am in the same boat!
After skipping an afternoon nap and having company I was sure B would sleep good last night, but jokes on me! I'm praying for his sleep to get back to tolerable! We're heading to storytime at the library and then to my sister's for lunch to see my mom one last time before she goes back to Florida. I'll join ashlantic in wishing happy toddlers and coffee to everyone!
Good morning ladies! I have a super-busy week coming up at work and I feel zero motivation. Not such a good thing first thing on Monday! Hoping coffee will help (even though it's decaf...blah).
AFM, we had a long, but good, weekend. I went a little crazy at Victoria's Secret on Friday as my birthday shopping trip and got a ton of new panties and some sleep shirts and lounge bras. Saturday night DH and I went to a painting class (a sip and paint thing) and had soooo much fun and I drank enough to get frisky when we got home even though it was late. Yesterday we went to ihop for breakfast at my request and to my ILs' for lunch, but DH got us out of there in like 45 min which I greatly appreciated. Then we went to the mall and I got a fabulous bath bomb that we enjoyed last night. And now it's Monday and supposed to storm and I'd rather be at home in bed.

laceysbryan boo for laundry! Mh isn't great at the drying/not drying and when he lays things flat to dry....well they aren't always flat (usually end up with weird lumps from how he draped them over things). But I don't complain and at this point I don't care! Haha ffmc Mh does most of the laundry and half the time I'm wearing semi wrinkled clothes to work.

dashook GL getting everything done. Hope the coffee (even decaf) helps! laceysbryan that sounds like an awesome weekend!! I need to do a paint and sip thing!
ashlantic what is with the 6am toddlers today? I think my LO was thinking that since I got to sleep in yesterday, I didn't really need that extra hour of sleep this morning. I also have all the chores today and no motivation to do them. laceysbryan MH is also this way. He just throws everything together and never hang dries or any of those other things. reginaphalange3 have fun today with your mama! dashook I would send you all my motivation vibes but I seem to have missed placed them
Good morning mommies!! Hope everyone had a great Mother's Day! I am off until Wednesday but thought I would pop in while LO is eating breakfast. We had a great weekend. DH did a bunch of little handyman things around the house on Saturday and yesterday we went to lunch at Cracker Barrel and then went and bought some new flowers and potting soil so I could transfer my tomato plant. So today I am trying to decide if I want to pack up the back room or take LO to the shell factory. Hmmmmmm fun or responsibility? Hope you all have a great Monday. Oh and I am ovulating which sucks because I can feel it with every move I make.
Ayiyi, so DH's parents are most likely visiting tonight, somewhat mid-feud. DH likes to get highly brooding/moody when they visit, leaving me to make nice. I told him he needs to either be somewhat pleasant or not invite them- ugh. We shall see.
I am ordering some leggings for LO today. She's sprouting and growing out of her old ones!
Dh made guacamole yesterday so I'm totally having chips and guac for lunch.
laceysbryan that's my husband too. His laundry skills are lacking. He'll do it, but by the time I'm done reminding him what gets hung up, etc, I might as well do it myself. Lol reginaphalange3 sorry for the rough night of sleep! Lo went to bed late and was still up at 6. I'm hoping it'll be a 2 nap day or his mood is going to go downhill real fast this afternoon. dashook good luck with your busy week! nemomof2 your day sounds like mine! bkmama0 yikes, hope the visit is short and sweet and there isn't too much drama. babyw15 enjoy!
I'm in line for Chipotle, yummy. ourcrazynavylife have a good day! ashlantic I'm hoping for ok visit. I share your guac craving! And I have so much laundry too. Yuck. babyw15 enjoy it! I wanted to stay in bed soooo bad this morning. Alas. Hope you have a nice day! kcrus I need like 2 coffees and 1 latte daily nowadays. Mmm. Coffee. dashook hope you found some cute maternity dresses! I had zero motivation this morning but I'm getting there! Trying to crank it out. nemomof2 on your wavelength today. laceysbryan sounds like a nice weekend! I need to get some bras and panties soon, I have like 1 working bra and some gross thongs. That class sounds like fun! And yay for drama free IL lunches. reginaphalange3 boo for awake toddlers. Hope he conks out tonight!

Making it through today. Insomnia last night as my brain kept spinning with all this stuff still on the docket this week and I didn't fall asleep until after midnight. Of course now I'm ready for a nap and I still have to teach one more class, then rugby practice, then daycare pick up, then dinner, then kids' bedtimes...then I'll probably be awake again ?
Hi! Best part of Monday is lunch time. I had a burger and fries. Plus jello for dessert.
DH didn't do much for mother's day, not even change 1 diaper! But he's cleaning the house today and buying groceries so I'm not too upset. Leo gave me the best gift, lots of kisses and hugs. He's been wearing his 3T shirts lately (sleeves a bit rolled up) and I get all the feelz. Esp since when he's drinking a bottle he won't let me hold him anymore..you know, in my arms like a baby. such a big boy. But we def need to take the bottle away. He's been gnawing on the nipple, prolonging giving it to me once he's done.
It's the start of my busy week and I am nervous. FX there are no big hiccups in my processes.
Ahhh. Sitting in the sun while lo plays with sidewalk chalk. Seriously the best 2 bucks I ever spent, he's been at it for almost 45 minutes! I'm impressed with his attention span.
littlelion lo still gets a bottle too, before naps/bed. We should probably think about giving it up, but I fear it's going to be harder to break that habit than the boob.
BabyStandish Hmmm... Tummy troubles... Very tired... Am I jumping to conclusions? anyway I hope you get a nap in!
I wish. I'm pretty sure the tummy troubles is just from my poor food decisions over the last 24 hours. I decided to treat myself yesterday a bit too much.
Officially freaking out about leaving for my intensive next week. My H has never had the kids alone for more than two days- and never when any of them were as little as LO is. I know everyone will be fine, but I still feel anxious about it. Mom problems, I guess.
Whew, what a weekend! Even though it's really early, we went ahead and told everyone we are expecting again. We kinda had to since I went ahead and played hockey anyway. I told my team and coach so they wouldn't get upset if it seemed like I was taking it easy. I ended up getting 2 goals, 1 assist, and DH told me it was one of the best games he's ever seen me play! Went to a farm in the middle of Denver for lunch on Mother's Day. They are known for their fried chicken and it was good! In fact, I should reheat some for lunch. Yum! I still need to make my Dr appt. We just switched insurance and I have to look for a new one. I absolutely hate choosing a Dr. It makes me so nervous. I've had some really bad experiences (major misdiagnosing by several Drs) and I just don't trust them as an occupation. I had a really great Dr/nurse combo in OR with LO and I'm afraid no one will compare. FIL is registering our truck for us right now. The DMV wait here in this county made the news for being so horribly long which means there is no way me and a toddler will survive sanely. DH doesn't have the time now that he commutes over a hour one way to work every day. I can't wait! I've missed Bruce (the truck).

Ugh. This is the same boat I'm in. I feel like I should just eat salad all week to apologize to my stomach.
