I am also having a bunch of post-nasal drip which made me puke last night. Glorious 1st trimester.
It's making the sickness SO MUCH WORSE! As soon as I hit 7 weeks last week, it's like symptom explosion. Between puking every single morning as soon as I wake up and the endless nausea combined with metal-mouth, I just want to sleep until mid-June, when 1st trimester is over...

Since this is a TMI thread, I'm going to put this out there. If anyone posts a picture of their mucus plug without a trigger warning, I will hunt you down and throat punch you. This was a huge issue on my BMB on TD, but luckily this place seems normal

kaydee0402, and I know what to get you for Christmas...LMBO JK
I have the peeing thing going but as per my first one..fighting UTI hell. Just got done with the monistat that i had to take for 7 days cause the antibiotics for the UTI will inevitably allow that to happen. Not to mention I can't poop either and I live on Colace and Metamucil.

@usernameedit , Yeah Metamucil helps if I am regular with it. But like you said drinking it makes me want to barf and then the prenatal I swear just makes it worse...first trimester is really not a fav of mine. How many more weeks..dear lord 5!

+2 .... at first I couldn't stop. This weekend I couldn't remember how many days it had been since I'd been able to go. And it hit me at work. Had to give birth at work praying nobody came in.

I've been pretty fortunate so far in the digestive system department... reading this thread has really driven home just how fortunate, actually!
I'm counting down the days until I am through with Estrace and Prometrium, though. A little bit of each one tends to ooze out over time (they're vaginal suppositories) and the Prometrium in particular is just gross. Six more days left!
My husband pointed out last evening just how long it's been since we had sex. I kind of feel bad for him, but not really.
+1 to it being awhile. I'm just not really in the mood - I'm bloated and nauseous plus constipated. No thank you to the secks. DH mentioned it on Mother's day, but luckily we were both too exhausted and we went right to sleep.
Yeah, I basically feel disgusting right now. And it gets progressively worse during the day. If he had a shot at all - it would be in the morning. I hope by 2nd tri that I'm feeling at least a little sexy again. This so isn't me.

I, too, am all good in the digestive department, however I'm so over the suppositories. Especially after the first time you sit/stand up after having them in. Ugh. With DD I took them until 14 weeks (out of paranoia) and so I probably will do that again this time.
Luckily for me, I also get to start a new progesterone at 15-16 weeks! Since DD was born so early, I'll have to get(or give) myself weekly injections until week 37. I should hopefully find out this week if the insurance company will allow DH to give them to me at home. (in the booty!) I'd much rather that than driving to the DR every week.
+1. I am literally butt hurt. I'd start bringing my own TP to work if I could do it discretely!
I nearly pooped myself in Target the other day. I had to literally run to the bathroom because I was on the totally opposite end of the store. It was so bad.

+2 to this. We have only had sex once since we got our BFP. And that time ended in bleeding and going to the doctor. Soooo, it will be awhile before I'm brave enough to try again.

Yikes! If you'll forgive the bad pun, that sounds like a pain in the ass! I hope the menfolk appreciate how much we are willing to go through to grow and bring home a baby.
I hate progesterone, and I might get to go off it this week, but I'm a little scared too. It's sort of like a security blanket?
Yeah, I feel a bit of that too. I am just going to trust the recommendation of my RE's office that it will be safe... I guess they got me this far, right?

So jealous you are almost done with progesterone! I have a few weeks left
I'm on progestin (sp??) 3 times a day and it is so gross!
When I was on estrace my husband called me a smurf.
Ah, yes, the Estrace does have a smurfing effect. It's an unsettling color to see sometimes.

I would trust your re. If for no reason other than they are a business and profiting off you purchasing medication from them. They have nothing financially to gain by telling you you don't need it anymore.
I'm personally finding the progesterone dosage for myself a little questionable. For my inserts the re told me 3 times a day. The nurse said twice and the package says 2-3 times. I'm dutifully taking them 3 times a day (which is costing a lot more than 2 would) but I wonder if I truly need that much.
This is my last week of progesterone and I'm super excited. I started with three a day, then cut back to two a day at 6 1/2 weeks, now on one a day since 9 1/2 weeks and my last dose is Friday. I'm so ready!
After almost three years of TTC, IVF #1 = Menopur + Follistim + other stuff. Retrieved 14, 12 mature, 7 fertilized, only 1 (6AA) made it to day 5 blast. BFP! DD born 12-10-2016

Interesting. I don't get my meds from the RE; I have a prescription that I get filled through my regular pharmacy and it is cheap. A 20 day supply of the progesterone (generic prometrium) costs, like, $10 and the estradiol (generic estrace) is even less. Is that setup an option for you?
Either way, I will definitely abide by whatever they tell me to do to keep my lil' one healthy.
