It has happened, I finally met a student's handwriting that I simply cannot read. I emailed her and asked her to type out her responses. I don't know what else to do other than fail her.
I just had a completely unannounced observation by a bigwig supervisor from the district. Thank goodness I'm awesome at pulling stuff out of my ass because I had nothing of consequence planned. He came at first period and was like "hey where can I sit?"
Annoyed at H. I went to bed and told him to shower then so he wouldn't wake me up (no door on master bathroom). He waited an hr, woke me up, and then I was up for 2 hrs. I'm exhausted this morning.
On a positive note, we signed a lease yesterday for a rental! Not our top choice but we like the house and are just so happy to be done with house hunting! I'll be moving at 37 weeks, but that's a whole other story.

I wish I could have a glass of wine
Oh my gosh I am not good with stuff like this. I might have been able to handle it normally but I suspect I would have had a pregnancy meltdown at the change in plans.

Does your H fall asleep really easily? Mine does and just cannot understand that all the little things he does wake me up and then I can't go back to sleep. I could turn the lights and radio on while I'm getting ready for work and he would sleep through it, if he closes a door too loudly I'm up for an hour.
Also re: moving at 37 weeks. Can you pay movers? I've always thought the were really expensive but I'm finding they're actually affordable. My coworker moved recently and said the movers packed her things and loaded the truck for $300. Totally worth it!
I have to head over to MHs great aunts house today for lunch. Sigh. I don't want to leave my house. Let me be grumpy and lonely please. I especially don't want to have to leave my house and then come home just so I can go straight to work. Someone come save me.

I think if he had sprung it on me at the end of the day I would have had a breakdown! I still was sweating like it was 90 degrees in the room, but we got through it. I just got the observation in my email and I got awesome marks, so I'm happy. It was my last one of the year so now I'm totally done!
Has anyone taken anything for sinus/upper respiratory cold? It started out in my nose and after a few days its moved to my chest. I get very winded easily and my chest just feels heavy. I'll call my OB this morning and see whats on the safe list.

I believe sudafed and vicks are safe but I've not had much luck with them when I've been pregnant and had colds. I've found you just have to wait it out.

I've been taking Robitussin DM for my chest cold, Mucinex is safe as well. It doesn't seem to be doing a whole lot, but I'll do anything at this point to try to get this crap out of my lungs.
ETA: Oh, and I did a round of antibiotics for the bronchitis that developed from my last cold. Fun times.

beebe918, my H doesn't fall asleep really easily, but in his mind, he needed to shower so possibly waking me up didn't cross his mind. It's been one of those weeks where everything he does has pissed me off.
We can't move until July bc that's when our new lease starts. We are def getting movers (have been using movers for years - no desire to do it ourselves!). We will pack ourselves but they will move us. $300 seems super cheap for packing too. I know it's more expensive here. We will manage somehow! I see a lot of tv in DS's future - oh well.

I feel like if it's safe for pregnancy, it does nothing for illness. I've used Tylenol Cold Max (midwife said its fine). I eventually got better but not sure if it had much effect. I did up my Vit C too. Feel better!

I think Mucinex and Robitussin are okay, but as long as you don't use the -D versions. Something that helped clear a lot of mucus for me was taking pure honey (a teaspoonful every couple hours). It also helps soothe sore throat, if you have one.

I woke up feeling like crap today, my legs felt so sore like I had been horseback riding or something. I really need to plan my lessons so I can sit on my butt because I did that the first two periods and am feeling better. I keep going back and forth between asking my OB to write me out and sticking it out another week.

So happy to hear you finally found a place and they chose your application!! I'm sure that's a huge weight off your shoulders.

I had my BPP and growth scan at the MFMs office today. S didn't do any practice breathing at all so now I am stuck at the OBs office doing an NST. I hope S passes this, he is being lazy today.
sarcaztic10 sending positive vibes he was just being lazy and passes the NST!
I just got back from the doctors and I'm so happy to have gained only 4 pounds in 4 weeks this time. Especially with all the junk I ate on mother's day!
So my mom got a voicemail yesterday from one of my grandma's friends who was calling to RSVP to my shower. In it she said "I'm so excited to see Mcktymck, Irene says she's so big already and she's worried about her!" I thought it was cute haha. I see my grandma at least once a week and she always tells me how great I look but I know she doesn't like how uncomfortable I've been lately, so I guess she told her friend about it.

You are a much stronger woman than me! We moved when I was 17 weeks, with movers, and it knocked me on my butt for a good 3 days. Godspeed!! :-P
