melody330 so sorry your little guy had a rough night, glad to feel it sounds like he's on the mend though!
TnT10 H and I didn't register anywhere for our wedding BUT it was my second marriage, we already had everything we needed because we had just moved across the country and had to purchase everything, and we got married 3000 miles away from our home.
housecarder a friend of mine got married a couple years ago and her registry was INSANE. She went to Crate & Barrel and put $1000 dollar couches, other big furniture items, I couldn't believe it! Never seen anyone register for items like that before, especially such expensive items. Also, the girls' 4th of July outfits are adorable!
littlesthobo everyone deserves a mental health day (or two) every now and then, especially when you're pregnant! Enjoy your days off!
It's funny because we registered at Crate & Barrel too and joked about doing that. We fell in love with a hutch and DH was all, "Your boss is a legit billionaire. Maybe he'll get it for us." But we didn't and boss bought us a crazy expensive crystal vase instead.
Sounds like a really great, relaxing day tikoberry99! Where did you end up finding a dress?!
cabbagecabbage that's hysterical! I'm the sort of person that feels guilty over the dumbest things, so even with the baby registry I worried certain items would be side-eyed even though the most expensive thing was a Mamaroo haha. I'm always thinking "oh god, people are going to think I'm being gift-grabby!"

I went to Destination Maternity. Their dresses are so freaking expensive, but the one I got can be worn after birth so I felt it was ok to spend money lol.

Absolutely! Especially if you love it, then it's even more worth it

mcktymck we totally didn't register for it. I was later embarrassed to realize how expensive our C&B duvet was. I wanted to buy the pillow cases and saw the price. I hadn't paid attention when registering and my aunt bought us a $200 duvet. I hope it was on sale. My mom tried to make me cheapen some of my baby registry stuff with DD but it was on toiletries and stuff that I really wanted organic and paraben free. I had a stroller and carseat on ours but tons of little items too. Add the mamaroo!

I made sure to have a variety of items in all different price ranges because you just never know how much someone wants to spend, or if a group of people are wanting to go in together to purchase something! Plus the way I see it is even if no one purchases one of the more spendy items that we know we want, we'll get the completion discounts on them which will be nice
Because of the chocolate milk boobs posts I totally bought chocolate syrup tonight. Can not wait to have a giant class of it when ds goes so bed so I don't have to share!

More of a confession than UO. My H bought Klondike bars this week. I've been falling asleep with DD at 7/7:30. He wakes me up around 7:45 and we eat ice cream and I fall back asleep. It's been glorious.

I only like chocolate milk that is premade, I don't like the syrup. I don't know why either. Probably because H insists on buying skim milk so it tastes like chocolate water.

I like to make my chocolate milk with skim milk and just a dash of syrup. Mmmmmmm, chocolate water.
