bexincanada -- I've been thinking about you. I hope you, your family, and the baby are all doing well. Totally understand if you want to stay away for awhile or are too busy to post, but want you to know we are all thinking of you!
Had an OB appt yesterday. She said it looked like I may have had some small contractions during the non stress test but was hard to tell. I didn't think I had any during the stress test but told her I am having some somewhat regularly in evening, but just seem to be Braxton hicks.
She did check me and I'm 1 cm. apparently that is very normal for a second baby at 35 weeks or so.
I definitely had some strong contractions at dinner last night so we went home a little early from our date night
The othe day I was getting gas and this woman said to me "God, you look so uncomfortable." I just laughed but was a little annoyed. I know I look huge right now. Luckily my wife and friends know to just tell me I look great. I don't feel it and I really don't think I look it but it helps, even though I think they are just saying it half the time
QOTW-- I had more of a plan the first time, which was no pain meds or epidural. After having to be induced first time contractions got really bad with pitocin so I got an epidural at about as late as you can. I was able to feel enough to tell when to push and to feel myself push, so it worked out fine. I definitely didn Want a c-section, so was happy to have vaginal birth.
This time, I want to try and avoid being induced I think, but at same time dont want to go too much over my due date. I wouldn't mind avoiding an epidural but will want one if I get to the point I was the last time. The pain got to the point I felt paralyzed. So, I guess I should figure out more of a game plan.
