I can't find what I am looking for on Google, and I don't see a BF board here. Did anyone else notice there teeth went to hell while nursing? I don't know if it is a coincidence or not. I feel like I have another cavity, I had a few filled about 6 months ago. I brush 2-4 times a day. If I do drink pop I brush after, I floss every night. I brush once a day with a flouride toothpaste that is an RX my husband called in. After all of that I still feel like I have another cavity, and I noticed that I usually get cavities when nursing. That's it I am weaning... soon Anyone else?
Mild bone changes are normal in breastfeeding - tooth issues would most likely relate to that. The upside is that bone loss / density issues tend to recover pretty quickly once you wean.
Oh, and I've had to have a wisdom tooth pulled with every baby too. So this is perfect, one more kid, one last wisdom tooth...
I had my wisdom teeth removed recently and it was awful (I'm also very willing to admit I'm a wimp about stuff like that) I can't imagine doing that separately each time for each tooth! You are one tough lady to do that three times
This will explain my last dentist appointment. My teeth were horrible. Whish I knew this info then so I could throw it back in the face of the snotty doc
