So I think I've been giving LO too much dairy. I'm still BFing, then on top of that she was having 2 smoothies with milk and yogurt, and quite a bit of cheese.
Cutting down to like 1 cup of banana milk (she still spits out plain WCM) and a bit of cheese or yogurt.
I asked the poo question yesterday because though she was doing ok, within the past week or two she's had a lot of blowouts and I think it's due to the dairy overload.
Le sigh. Figuring it out. I also want to get her interested in more veggies. Right now she eats mainly fruit, dairy, and grains, with some eggs and meat.
Probably because I read about the cosleepers, I felt like sleeping with Ch last night -- but she spent over an hour chatting away to herself while rolling sideways and patting and kicking us happily. Like all of these:
So had to put her in her crib. Ah well.
Also here she is cuddling on the couch with us last night
I am back! We had a nice weekend. DH's parents were there to help us take care of her. I felt bad handing her over so easily, but I was so tired and just needed sleep. We drove home Sunday, and she slept most of the way. We would stop and let her run around places to let her release some energy. Sometimes, she would fuss and grab her feet. We took this as a sign to get her out. Overall, she did great in the car. She just can't sleep in the same room as us or she stays up all night thinking it's a party. We have the complete opposite problem of co-sleepers. I have to do laundry today. I really don't want to, but I should. DH and his parents leave again this weekend for a wedding in Billings. Just me and the kiddo stay behind. We are going to my parent's house (5 minutes away lol) to stay there for the weekend. I offered to take care of their dog, and my cat, until Monday while they are in OR visiting my grandparents. My grandmother just had gallbladder surgery, but they won't let her go home. For more info, click spoiler.
My grandfather (85) absolutely hates hospitals and has started showing signs of dementia. It's tough because my parents aren't able to retire and move there to take care of them, but my grandparents aren't able to move here to CO. My grandmother is also having lung issues, and can't be at high altitude. She's never, ever drank or smoked in her life.
DH is making me mad. He's making stupid choices and doesn't understand how it's affecting everyone else. He complains he has this long commute (he does), and that he doesn't get to see us anymore. Well, then perhaps not stopping at the bar for a drink or 3 after work might make that happen? Hmm?! Sorry, end rant. I hear an awake LO. I should go get her. She just plays in her crib. She could be awake for an hour before we notice. It's crazy.
@bkmama I always have to give mad props to bed sharing mamas. I can never sleep, either because LO is moving or I am worried about them. littlelion sorry mama, I hope you get to feeling better. raven I am sorry you are going through all of this. DH does this too, it really irritates me when he supposed to help with bed time.
I have been a bad TCF mama. I have been creepily LTing but not able to post. We had a lot of grad parties and. Couple bridal showers so it was a lot of running these past couple of weekends. Because of all of that my house is a disaster, so I think the next couple of days will be for laundry and cleaning, womp womp womp. Anyway, Hhhhiiiii!

General contractor meetings went well. Really liked the one guy and did not like the other guy at all. We've got two more meetings next week before picking who we're going with and getting this Reno show on the road!

nemomof2 oh I promptly screamed bloody murder. Then went and retrieved my handy dandy lizard catching container (aka an empty oatmeal can I keep under the sink) and caught it. Haha
It's unfortunately a multiple times a day occurrence.

bkmama0 the veggie struggle is real at our house. Leo would eat so many veggies before but now the only one he likes are peas and raw bell pepper. raven we've had plenty of fights over dh indulging in happy hour. Mostly since he'd do it daily. And I'd be the responsible adult rushing home to care of baby and dinners. Not fair. nemomof2 hola chica! Summers are crazy busy for me too mostly with family parties. This last Saturday we had 3 invites (2 1st Communions & 1 baptism). I barely made it to 1. ourcrazynavylife do you think your new house will have less lizard visitors?
Thanks guys. I just get frustrated sometimes and don't know what to do with him.
It's cold and rainy and wet and no good to play outside. I still haven't gotten to laundry. I've been on the phone all morning trying to make a Dr appt for myself. I had one office actually tell me to go to Planned Parenthood, have them confirm I'm pregnant, and then they will take me as a patient. Umm... can't you just do that yourself? Isn't that part of your job as a OB-GYN?! Ugh, called a 2nd office and had to wait for a call back. Finally got my appt... for June 28th. I don't want to wait over a month! I'm too impatient for that. Also, scheduled LO's first dentist appt!! DH had braces growing up and my molars came in sideways, trying to push my other teeth out. We take our tooth care seriously in this family. lol I'm way more excited than I should be. I know she's going to lose her marbles; she barely lets us look in her mouth.
raven, I think YH going out to happy hour totally warrants watching GoT without him! Sorry to hear about your grandparents. I had a similar situation with my grandparents so I can empathize. It's so tough. Big hugs! And lo is the same way about his teeth. I checked in there today because he's been chewing his fingers like crazy and you would have thought it was the end of the freaking world! bkmama0 good luck with the veggies! Just keep offering them. Lo was the same with meat- he had a 2 month stretch where he hated it and then one day he just decided it was ok again. Some days it's still a fight, but he's better about it than before. littlelion ugh, morning sickness is the worst. Hope you're feeling better this evening! nemomof2 I hear ya on the struggle to catch up after a busy weekend. ourcrazynavylife good luck finding a good contractor!

Hugs to the mamas with teething babies! That face is so pitiful ourcrazynavylife !! Like nemomof2 I've been lurking and LTing with occasional post. It's just been busy around here, and today was no different. Ugh. Why don't adults get summer breaks? I can't wait for Memorial Day.

bkmama0 Do you Pinterest? With your interior design flair I figure you might, but I try to find good toddler food ideas on there. You might be able to find something for veggies. BabyStandish I refuse to run if there is an sign of impending poo. I do not want to be 2 miles away from a friendly toilet when nature calls. raven Glad your Lo was a trooper for the car ride! Sorry about YH - we used to have that fight a lot (but it was pretty bad - to the point that DH doesn't drink anymore). *hugs* littlelion Hope you got to feeling better today! ashlantic I hate spiders too! Since we live on a pond bugs in general are pretty inevitable but I still hate them!
Hiiiiiiiii! Checking in from my intensive. I have slept about two hours in the last three days. There has been a lot of fun and shenanigans but also a LOT of real talk...stuff is getting serious! I hope everyone is doing well. I will catch up as soon as this whirlwind is over. I miss you ladies!
