Big huge hugs summerrain! I hope the party goes well!
Ladies, I am 8 weeks today. Which means I'm 1/5 of the way done (give or take a few days). Holy shit.
Also, my H and I have a dinner date planned for a little later. It took 2 months to get into this restaurant and I'm super excited, even if it means just a few hours of adult time.
flcl, It totally just happened out of the blue a few months ago. He just follows me around and always wants to "help". I totally take advantage and have him "help" throw out trash, feed the dog, put dirty clothes in the hamper, load the washing machine (clothes only, no detergent)... I can loan out him to you
Oh!! I was imagining him dusting and mopping for some reason. LO likes those tasks too. When yours learns how to dust, send him over... That's the worst part!
Oh hell, I wish he could mop and dust! His idea of sweeping is running through the piles and spreading all he dirt around with his mini broom... So helpful....I can only imagine the fun he would have with mopping! Fantasia style flooding up in this place...nightmare.
I keep promising my work I'll make marshmallows to bring in but I'm far too tired once again. I would go to bed but H is not home until 2230 and I like to stay up for him (Lonely at the weekends, annoying work hours).

I took video yesterday of my toddler running around with the full size broom 'sweeping'. At least this time wasn't sticking his hands in the dirt piles! And he loves to help me load the washer and dryer.
My SO is working and should be home in about 15 minutes. Kiddo is napping. I'm hoping to go shopping and get a new bra to go under the white sundress I'm wearing for the wedding. I also need nude underwear that won't show through! FX that the shopping gods are with me.

Thank you all for the kind wishes. You have no idea how nice it is for me to be able to talk with people who understand more than my well meaning friends and family.
On the bright side. My daughters birthday was a success and the weather could not have been more perfect. Everything is already cleaned up and I can now relax in my nice clean house. I definitely overdid it, but it was great take my mind off things.
summerrain big hugs. Oh Hun. Sending you T&P's and this lovely blanket fort and chocolates so you can wait out limbo after your daughters party. I'm sorry you are going through this Hun.
I'm gonna need my husband to build this pillow fort for me. It's perfect!

summerrain, so so happy that your DD's birthday was great! You've earned an evening of rest and relaxation; hope you can get some (rest and relaxation that is).
summerrain I'm so glad the party was a successful distraction. How are you holding up?
If I'm being honest, not the best. Now that I'm sitting down the cramps are pretty strong and the bleeding is still very heavy. I'm still hoping for some kind of miracle but preparing for what I know in my head is happening. Thank God for you ladies.
I've been MIA this weekend as I'm struggling with total exhaustion and nausea but wanted to send you so many hugs summerrain. I'm sorry you're dealing with this, sending many t&p's your way.

We went to IKEA today to look at options for DS' big boy room (the baby will go in the nursery and DS will move into the current guest room) and ended up buying a bunch of stuff with gift cards. Now we just need to paint, clean out the room and get some artwork.

MH and I just had a conversation about turning the computer room/ office into DS's big boy room! At first the idea of moving him out of the nursery made me sad but now I am pretty excited to turn the office into something he'll really love.
ashtog, osumegs it was great. My daughter loves music (she commands us to "dance" and waves her arms back and forth), so she enjoyed. We don't think she connected the guy on stage with the guitar to the music, but it was still pretty awesome. Enough that my husband, who could take or leave Raffi, had tears in his eyes at the finale (this little light of mine). It helped that Raffi asked everyone to put one finger up like a candle and wave it back and forth, and our daughter started copying everyone and doing it too. God, babies are adorable.

Blazing a, I'm so sorry you aren't feeling well. I so hope it passes quickly and you get to feeling better. If you need anything let me know.
