Starting off the week with a really random though.
Why does LO' s little zipper sleepies or w/e they're called have a real pocket? First of all it's like big enough for a penny, second of all what does she have to carry around?

Our washing machine is on the fritz. It started making this horrible sound yesterday. I called a repair shop first thing this a.m. Earliest appt was tomorrow afternoon; we have B's 2month shots at 1 tmrw.
The woman was super sweet & said they would call when they were going to head this way & if it wouldn't work, she would put me down for Wed just in case. Hoping we can get it fixed asap!

My friend came over with her 6 month old, and her LO chewed on a couple of plush toys and was on her play mat. Do I need to wash the whole mat? Just what she chewed on? Nothing?

Definitely throw the plush toys in the laundry. The mat...I would do it, but I don't think that's as immediate as the plush toys.
I desperately want Joanna Gains to design my house. So much so, I Mau move to Waco to make this happen. These are the things I think about while W sleeps.

Umm I'm obsessed with fixer upper!! I just heard she's giving away a home makeover to one Instagram followers per month!

Honestly unless the kid was sick, I'd probably not do anything more than wipe the plush toys with a wipe lol.

Phew this is me if that lol. I never cleaned toys other babies played with with dd1. Never even occurred to me.
My giant monster baby is now in 6 month pjs as well as 6 month pants. Little chunk will probably bust out of that and be in 6-9s by the time we hit DD2's birthday in June. At this rate, she'll be as tall as me by Christmas and play basketball for the state in about 18 months...
I feel you! I keep thinking growth will slow down.
Since learning to roll LO gets very little tummy time. She just loves to roll. She will stay up for like a min and then just rolls (and then I roll her back and we continue like this until she gets done) I'm not really worried, she has really great head control. Her rolling is getting more coordinated looking too.

I went on an interview this morning.... 20 minutes from home instead of my normal 1-2 hour commute. Fingers cross for me, I think it went very well.
This is great to hear! Any idea when you should hear back from them?
Edit: Hear? Read? Whatever works there.
Next week, I think my chances are pretty good. The population (nursing home residents) is very educated and most people working in my field don't have degrees, so having a masters may help.
There would be a second round interview to meet other managers.

I have not been on in 2 weeks. I go back to work on Tuesday. We had planned on Mon but my boss called me to say that we are closed on Memorial Day. Lots of mixed feelings. I don't remember much of my return to work with DS. I am excited a little but also sad and nervous. I don't know if I have enough milk pumped.

You guys. So many of you are going back to work! Here I am with an 8 week old... and I can't imagine going back to work! His schedule is still super erratic, he freaks out randomly... Please tell me things get markedly better between weeks 8 and 12.
