Generally feeling ok except skin has been itchy, am more tired, and a little more uncomfortable.
Yesterday I was at a baby shower (not mine) and the room didn't have much air conditioning. I looked down at my feet and one of my toes was red from swelling too much. I had a pair of Chaco sandals that wrap around the big toe if anyone is aware of that brand. I shouldn't have worn those sandals! I took my shoes off for the remaining of the shower but couldn't put them on after I have one good pair of sandals that are super comfy so will stick to those now!
QOTW- having names related to family ties, at least in part , is important to me. But we want a name we really like too. Also, it's hard because we like a lot of classic names but don't want anything too common. And of course we disagree a lot. With the first we picked out 3 and waited until she was born to decide. This time L started using our favorite name around C and now she calls the baby that so I think we are stuck. I do like the name but ideally want to wait until baby is born.
I'm exactly the same as mahler5,, 37.5 weeks. Feeling tired and immobile and had a similar sandal incident at work last week. Guess I can't wear those. I'm ready to be done with the anxiety of not knowing how/when this baby will arrive. I could use the rest of this week to finish work stuff that is important...and then I think I'm really gonna be over it.
QOTW: We have a name, its on her wall. MN is a family name, first name we just both have to like, has to be recognizably female, and not super popular/trendy.
I'm 25+3 and just chugging along. Nausea has picked back up, but luckily the vomitting is staying away.
When did you guys notice the feet swelling getting bad? I've already had to ditch a lot of my casual shoes because they're too tight by the end of the day- but I mostly wore chucks, so they're on the narrow side anyway. I'm concerned about my work boots. Swelling feet inside of steel toe boots sounds miserable.
QOTW: We're trying to have 2-3 names to take to the hospital with us. MN will be a family name, but first name will just be something we like. We're avoiding all gender ambiguous names and nicknames. Also avoiding anything that easily rhymes with any gay slurs. The other little snot nosed kids are at least going to have to put some effort into however they make fun of our kid.
Hey all, I'm feeling increasingly confident in our baby status and figure it's time to join this thread. We're at 10.5 weeks right now, been released from RE and have our first real OB appt on Friday! So far so good. K was able to stop the progesterone and estrogen supplements this week, so no more needles finally!! Some nausea, super sleepy most of the time, but generally she seems to be feeling pretty well.
QOTW: We're pretty solid on a girl name, but have a couple of backups just in case we meet baby and it doesn't suit her. For boys we're all over the place. We agree that it's important to have a name that's not very common but also isn't super weird. I also keep sneaking in all the literary names possible. I have this want for my kids to read the book where I snagged their name. Nerd.

I think the feet swelling started about 3-4 weeks ago. It's not horribly bad except when it's hot, or I'm on my feet a lot. As the uterus gets bigger it inhibits the return of fluid to your body from you legs, so I think sometime in early to mid 3rd trimester.
