I feel like I'm about to get my period. Can't decide if it's just growing pains or if the transverse-lying baby right on top of my cervix is starfishing.
Had that yesterday and it freaked me the eff out. Felt better once I drank some water, but still wtf. Are they both transverse or just the one?
Oh no sophiegrace, I hope you aren't getting sick! I feel like I have a perma-case of the sniffles. Typical in pregnancy, but yuck.
Morning everyone, sorry to have been so MIA lately. We are back from the memorial service, etc. and if I have to get in a car and drive more than 30 minutes anytime soon, I'll cry. Everything went well and it was good seeing all my extended family; I think my grandmother would have been happy with the send-off.
Nothing much on the agenda for us today, just grocery shopping and picking up the dog from the kennel.
danib I am sorry you didn't get much sleep I hope the toddler is nice to you today and you can find time to rest
Hugs LizInFL I hope you can take time to rest today and mentally recover. That is never easy
I am waiting for the pest people to come because we have an ant problem... Yet again. We pay for quarterly treatment and they still have to come back 4 times a year to take care of ants. We are actually switching soon but these in between treatments are free so we are going to take advantage of that.
danib I'm gonna need your managers number so I can give him/her a piece of my mind. Please, please take care of yourself and tell them to shove it if this continues. You are doing them a favor by working right now when medically you should be home.
aggiebug How bad are we talking? Indoors or outdoors? We had an ant problem our first year in the house, on the interior. To my amazement I tried ONE thing that worked like a charm and I've never seen an ant in the house again. White vinegar - rub a line of white vinegar at any door/window opening/exterior wall.

Indoors and they are all over our kitchen.
I tried quite a few things before we hired pest people the first time, including vinegar, and nothing worked. I think the borax/ sugar gel might work but at this point we have paid for them to fix it so they can do it!

starbuck27 I get that crampy feeling periodically. I had it with L too. I think it's just from expansion.
sophiegrace Oh no!! I hope you're not getting sick.
danib That sucks! Hope tonight is better and you get some rest.
Today one of my friends from ms/hs is coming to visit. We also need to grocery shop and I really should pack some boxes. I also have to get quotes from moving companies and pick a home warranty company. Anyone have/had a warranty with a company you liked that's national (or in TX)?

I had to get up extra early today to get into work in time to prep for my deposition this morning. My part of it is now over and I'm just sitting here pretttty bored while the eleventy billion other attorneys take their turns with this witness. Great billing I guess but holy crap I have so much other work I need to do!
H and I are going to the Sox game tonight and I'm kind of dreading how tired I will be. I also have to drive us home afterwards since I know H will be drinking a ton of beer so hopefully I can stay awake!

dashook I was just asking my friend (in Boston) the best way to get cheap Sox tickets; your suggestions? He said to scalp outside the stadium but I'm so nervous I'll end up getting fake tickets and be turned away at the gate lol. I've never paid because I had the luxury of company tickets or insurance companies giving them to us. Looks like we might do a closer to home trip soon so I was thinking Boston.
dashook Did you even get a break over the weekend?! Seems like you've been working a lot, put your feet up and relax while the other attorneys work, but not if you're wearing a skirt, that could get awkward
No, I ended up working both days I'll get a break this weekend (3 days--woo!)
Lol I actually am wearing a flowy dress and I already accidentally lifted it a bit higher than is appropriate while pulling documents out of my bag. Whoops!! Naturally I am the only female in this room other than the court reporter too so that was nice and awkward. I think they are all scared already by my preggo belly.

So, I am not the person to ask about this because we always go either with clients of my H's law firm (so, in a box suite) or on my FIL's season tix (which is what we have tonight), meaning we never have to buy them ourselves (terrible, I know). Sorry!

But yay for coming to Boston!!
No problem!! This seems to be the norm. Everyone I know goes on company tickets

From my experience, there is no cheap way to get into Fenway. With that being said: Look on Craig's list, sit it the nosebleeds, go on a weeknight, and when they are playing someone from not the ALC east, probably cheaper with a bad national league team.

Oh have fun! It's a great park seriously one of our favorites so far. We just bought them through their site and for many of the parks we have found that to be cheapest or close to it. We watched tickets on a ton of sites all last year, including towards the end of the season when they weren't looking like post season material and we never found great deals. So when we bought this year we didn't even try to look around (we also went marathon weekend so we knew it definitely wasn't worth it). I do recommend the nosebleeds, they are some of the only seats that guarantee an unobstructed view, and the park is small enough it was great.

LizInFL I'm passing out as soon as L goes down too. I've been finding that I must nap every afternoon. I hit a wall by 3.
I also have soooo much work to do in this house. Our loan was approved so we are buying this house! Which means I'm moving in 2 weeks. I've packed one box. ONE. My to do list is about 8 pages long, but I'm having trouble getting things done I'm always so tired. At least this is DH's last week before finals and then next weekend he starts summer break so he can help pack and do stuff.
ClassyMrsA hope you got your nap! Mine was much-needed. I now have the energy to parent until DH gets home at 5 And congrats on the loan approval. Moving stinks but hopefully this will be the last one for awhile!
DH is off to his ship for hopefully only 4 weeks but we don't know it could be 5 weeks. I'm home alone with 3 dogs... and hopefully I won't have MS while he's away. I'm with many of you ( LizInFL, ClassyMrsA,) naps seem to be a daily requirement. I missed my nap-time slot today so now I just hope I don't accidentally fall asleep while watching television tonight. I got a manicure and bought a new purse for the summer after I dropped DH off at the airport.

Spent my nap time getting quotes for movers and picking a home warranty company. Now I have to go make dinner. At least it's pretty simple. Maybe I'll pack another box before bed...or not.
