Because, it's been awhile! What's up ladies?

1. My husband has been working away for 10 days, and comes home tomorrow. I CAN NOT WAIT. All of the props to the parents that do this solo on the regular.

2. DD2 is walking like a pro! She took her first steps in April and now there is no stopping her.

3. She will be 1 next month and I'm in denial.

4. I'll be 30 next month... even more denial.

5. We just did a mom and baby wearing workout this morning. DD1 had a tantrum so I ended up hauling her around while wearing DD2. I think I deserve chocolate now.

6. We are going to Maui next month and I am so excited!

7. My mom is taking DD1 for the afternoon so that I can run errands with just one kid. Looking forward to the calm!

8. DD1 has suddenly taken an interest to the potty after months of refusal. So there may be hope!! She has only peed twice though... ever.

9. It just rained all weekend and today is actually sunny... SO glad.

10. We really needed the rain though. We have pretty serious wildfires going on here and tens of thousands of people have evacuated (an entire city).

sugarkissed You definitely deserve chocolate. And Maui?! I am soo jealous!! We got married and honeymooned there, we had the best time ever!

1. We joined our local YMCA a couple weeks ago and it's been nice being able to workout while having the kids in daycare there. DD takes a little bit to warm up to being left in daycare but once she is she loves it. DS has had a few days where he just crys and crys when I leave him, like last night and I just ended up leaving. I hope this gets better.

2. The weather is finally warming up here, feels like summer!

3. We built DD a sandbox over the weekend and are going to set it up tonight for her. She will have a blast with that!

4. I'm 5 lbs away from pp weight but I still feel really out of shape. I wish I had the determination for diet plan but it's so hard to stick with that especially when I'm an emotional eater which doesn't mix with a toddler haha.

5. Our bathtub leaked through the ceiling last week and DH fixed it but now there's a big hole in the ceiling.

6. I took DD out for a run last night and it was the first time in a little under a year I ran while pushing a stoller. I forgot how rough that is, she kept asking if I was okay because I was breathing so hard haha.

7. I'd like to grow some tomatoes this year and really need to get that started soon.

8. I had both kids in their rooms for a nap today and it was nice having peace and quiet for a bit, I was able to make pasta salad ahead of time for dinner. DD didn't fall asleep though. I dread the day when naps are no more for her.

9. I love seeing the kids in shorts and sandals, such cute little legs and toes!

10. Time for laundry.

lilqt3929, I've already killed my tomatoes. Oops. I missed the frost warnings... haha. I can't leave DD1 at the daycare, because she has a meltdown if I'm out of her sight. Fortunately we have so many options here that you can bring your kids to the workout. I don't think I'd be able to ever do anything otherwise.

jnetx, I feel the same way about our dog. I love him, but we are just soooo busy with the kids that he doesn't get a lot of attention these days.

1. DD#1 has peed on the potty before bed for 5 out of the last 6 nights.
2. My kids are freakin' adorable.
3. I forgot my lunch, so I'm going to get something super tasty, but I don't know what yet.
4. DD#2 only woke once last night
5. I was crying the other day and emailing somebody, so DD#1 came over and asked if "Mama ok? Is your phone broken?". Maybe I should put it down if she thinks I'm crying because it broke. I probably would have.
6. I don't feel like doing work.
7. The weather is finally really nice here.
8. All this talk about dogs makes me miss out pup and want another one.
9. I am currently addicted to Bejeweled.
