AFM- I started bcp on 5/20 and will be on them until 6/1 in prep for IVF # 1. I go 6/3 for a baseline ultrasound and blood work. Stims should start 6/5 with a tentative ER of 6/16 if everything goes according to plan. It excites me and terrifies me all at the same time. If everything goes well, we will do a FET in mid July.
Today marks 21 weeks since we lost K. It seems unreal, still.
Other than that, we've been trying to go hiking once a week. I've lost 50 lbs, and I'm enjoying writing in my blog. It's very cathartic.
Nothing too big planned for our summer. Probably just open up our pool and we're still deciding if we want to do a garden or not. Guess we better hurry up and figure that out!
I've been itching terribly to pick up and take a trip (think groupon all inclusive to some awesome beach) for a few days. We've not gone away since we lost Kenley and I think I'm realizing I need a break.

I have everything crossed for you with this IVF process rslh10, Sending much love to you always...I think of all of you, especially your sweet K often! I think a vacation would do you all some good! Now that I'm out of school I'll be heading your way soon
rslh10, I also gave everything crossed for you!!! Definitely take a trip. A beach vacation for a few days sounds amazing and will probably do wonders for you!
AFM, getting everything in order for IVF. Plan to start BCP in July, start stims end of July, and ER and ET in August. When we first talked about this it all seemed so far off, but now shit is getting real.
I am doing a low carb diet trying to lose some weight before we start all the IVF stuff. So far, it's been going okay but when I get stressed it gets really difficult because I just want to eat all the carbs. So, I just started a meditation program. Starts with 5 mins of meditation a day and slowly increases up to 30 minutes. I'm hoping it will help me keep my stress under control.
rslh10, Hope all goes smoothly for your cycle. Definitely take a vacation for a few days! Lots of (((hugs))) for K, as always.
cali, GL with starting IVF! The meditation program sounds like a really good idea. I need to do that as well.
I'm doing okay overall. Monday was the EDD for the third baby, I felt pretty sad in the morning, but felt better throughout the day. We ended up going down to lake in our neighborhood around sunset and wrote my angel's name in the sand with the EDD and took some pics, kinda like how Carly Marie does. Also found an angel statue for the garden to put by her lilies I planted.
Consult with the new RE was yesterday. They seem much more organized than the previous RE by far. They want to run a thrombophilia panel on me and check some other things. Next cycle I will have CD 3 testing rechecked and a baseline ultrasound/physical, then a hysteroscopy later that week. If all looks good there, we will try a Tamoxifen TI cycle the following month since the RE stated it should help my lining. If it doesn't, then most likely we will move onto IVF, but he doesn't think we need to rush into that just yet. Feels good to have a plan!
grneyes, the meditation was super hard for me at first because I have difficulty sitting still and doing nothing but I'm starting to really like it. I use a free app called Calm, it's great if you're interested. It sounds like the new RE is really on top of things. Hope all the testing goes well and Tamoxifen does the trick for you!

Thank you! Yes, the meditation is hard to get used to at first. I'm pretty type A, so I need to chill sometimes since I get worked up easily. I'll look into that app! Also, Circle and Bloom might be good for you too since they have a meditation program tailored to an IVF cycle.
renegadewhit , so I take it they're flying you in for that interview? Awesome! I missed that I think. FX! I think tis only normal to get your hopes up, but am glad that even if things fall through you still feel okay about the position you're in now. Also... TWO WEEKS TWO WEEKS TWO WEEKS OMGOSH!! You can definitely start counting in days now!
grneyes , **hugs** Your trip down to the lake on Monday sounds beautiful. The new RE office sounds good, GL with all the testing, and having a plan you feel good about.
cali, I hope the meditation program will help you some with your stressing. And GL with loosing some weight. I been trying to loose some before IVF as well though with IVF suddenly being moved up 2 months it's not going to be easy to loose as much as I had hoped heh. GL with school also!
skategirl128, yay for being out of school! Did you manage to sort out the classroom alright?
rslh10, sending much love your way *hugs* I vote for planting a garden as well, even if it is just some plants! Also, if you can, absolutely go on a trip! Doesn't need to be far away or long, but getting away and out of your standard environment for a bit can be so good. I'm extremely bummed we had to cancel our Switzerland trip and am now trying to figure out when/if we can take another short trip somewhere closer to home. I'm desperate to get away for a bit.
