Since we didn't do humblebrag humpday, I figured we could do it today. What's something about yourself or something you've done this week that you're proud of?

We were up from 11:30 -1 last night. I got DD back to sleep when she first woke up but as soon as I put her back in the crib she flipped out again. DH had to get up to put the air conditioner in her window and I gave her motrin, we know she has teeth breaking through and it was also about 80 degrees in her room. By the time that whole production was done she was wide awake. On the plus side, my day is much better than yesterday so far.
This is a very very humble brag, but I'm proud that I've had the motivation to get some runs in when I am wfh or on the weekends lately. It's hasn't been pretty, but I'm considering signing up for a 5k to stay motivated.
I'm proud we made it through a pukey vacation without freaking out or breaking down.
I have Santa Fe chicken in the slow cooker (a new recipe with things I had already). I am finishing up laundry, trying to clean up post vacation bags/mess, and have swim class tonight. Also, I'm trying to find my place in my new role as a full time SAHM. I need to get in a new routine. Right now I feel a bit... naked.
dreemkin I think you deserve a gold star and a whole bottle of whine for surviving that trip! I can't even say it was a vacation. I am sure you will find your routine and role soon, it's a striking transition to make.
I had an ultrasound this morning technically a recheck from some spotting a few weeks ago but the implantation bruise is gone and baby boy looks perfect. They actually got almost all the measurements they need for an anatomy scan he was so photogenic.
Now I am a lump on the couch because today is a dizzy kind of day.
dreemkin being in a routine definitely helps me as a SAHM. I hope you find a routine that works for you soon!
We had library today then went to McDonald's to play and eat. C absolutely loves playing there. She follows the bigger kids around like she's one of them. It's so cute. It's already too hot for me here, I feel like we missed out on a spring. I do not like to sweat lol.
And I have nothing to toot my horn about right now. I'm sitting on my ass watching TV instead of cleaning like I should be lol. Oh well, can't win them all
aggiebug omg congrats on an awesome ultrasound and baby boy!! Do you have names picked out?
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. That is a big fat nope. We haven't even tossed names at each other at all. I am hoping it's not as difficult as it was to find a name for DD. That took all 37 weeks of pregnancy .
And thank you! We are happy for another healthy kiddo

I just want to point put my type-o that is making me lol a bit. I think you are entitled to whine and some wine.
Did I know it was a boy aggiebug? Congrats on all the great, healthy, happy news! And I love your daughter's name so I'm sure you'll find a nice boy name to go with it.
dreemkin I don't think I have said anything about knowing it's a boy before today. We knew just before we left on our trip to Texas thanks to the blood test, but vacation and waiting to tell family first it never came up here.
Oh and Sam is way to close to my FIL's name. Nope. Nope. Nope. But otherwise a lovely be indeed

aggiebug Congrats on the boy! Glad everything looks good!
tortor4 DD always wanders over to the bigger kid part of our playground, she is so interested in what the older kids are doing. Hard to imagine that in a few years she'll be like those kids.
Are the themed randoms too much? You can always ignore the bonus questions.
I thought the themed threads were additional? E.g. UO Thursday is started as a separate thread from the Thursday randoms thread. That was my intention with the Humblebrag thread as well, but maybe our bord has too little activity for something like that to work?
aggiebug, Congrats on your healthy baby boy! That's exciting
My humble brag this week is that I've been able to find the time to sew two pairs of pants for DD - and they both turned out really good! Usually I'm a little sloppy with my sewing, but this time I really did everything as you're supposed to and the difference showed in the result.

I had an interview for an internal hiring program I applied for months ago. Even with the new job, I qualify and the guy was excited about getting me connected with people in the groups I'm interested in and have been trying to get into.
