PNR because things are about to get moving here, but I was hoping that it was ok to get a thread like this started.
I run out of ideas for snacks or get sick of what I have been eating day in and day out. Maybe if we all put together our ideas we'll inspire each other a bit.
What are you, or would you like to be snacking on?
Mmm snacks. I tend to go for salty and/or crunchy.
My current favorite is monterey jack cheese on triscuits. Others: applesauce (yes, I'm 5), Cheez-its, apple slices with peanut butter, a half PBJ, Raisin Bran.
I also keep Quaker "Chewy" granola bars (personal preference is chocolate chip) at the ready, they are great when I want a sweet fix, or need a purse snack. DS also likes them.
For some reason, I am 'off' cooked vegetables right now, but I can plow through fruit salad, so I've been making big batches of that to eat whenever I want something cold.
I have a couple of trail mixes that are good. One is peanuts, raisins, cashews, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, and almonds; one is pumpkin seeds, almonds, walnuts, and craisins. I find that these are a quick fix to a grumbling tummy until I can get something more substantial, and they're healthy.
I have been eating bananas but they are kind of making me angry at the moment. I might switch to clementines or apples as I patiently wait for it to be berry season. Someday it will be berry season in the northeast.
I also like PB&J on whole wheat (of half ones), cheddar cheese sticks, yogurts, and ginger almond cashew granola cereal from Trader Joe's. One time I had baby carrots with pub cheese and that was effing delicious. Need to get more pub cheese.
I would like to be eating chips and salsa and/or guac, or hummus and raw veggies (I've just been off hummus unfortunately).

Lately my snacks have been veggie straws and fruit snacks. I'm like a little kid. I also do real fruit once in a while. I haven't been snacking as much lately.
You know what I really want right now...Frito Scoops and homemade sour cream and onion dip. Mmmm.
By homemade sour cream and onion dip are you referring to sour cream mixed with Lipton onion soup mix? Because H, me, and our friends (a couple) are addicted.

Yep! I will eat the pre-made stuff in a pinch but the real thing is my favorite.

I eat a lot of fruit. Bananas, strawberries, blueberries, watermelon, cantaloupe are my favorites. ETA: I love peaches and pears, those are actually my favorite fruits. I should start to get some of those.
Vanilla yogurt with granola
Yogurt covered raisins (I would prefer cranberries, though)
Carrots and hummus
I also get a pre-made spicy buffalo cheddar dip and eat it with unsalted saltines (does that make them just 'tines?)
