Where to begin? Daycare is closed and MH was supposed to come home before I left for work. He got caught up with a work issue. I called me administrator and she told me to bring DS to work. So....I am at work, teaching 8th graders, with a two year old.
heybulldog56 omg. How long til YH gets there? How is your boy doing?
He's coming to get him around 11. DS has been great. I am pleasantly surprised. He been clingy but that's understandable when 30 teenagers are crowding around and trying to touch you. He's currently sitting quietly at my desk drawing and "reading".
I tossed and turned all night alternating between cramping and wanting to puke. Omg, the nausea is unreal now. I can't even get through my first cup of coffee, and baby woke up at 5am

Is your lunch bunch all over him and *squeee ing* that's what I imagine happening lol
heybulldog56 I'm glad he's doing well! A couple of times last year I brought DS in for our special events and the kids were always extra well behaved when he was there. I worked at an alternative school for at risk kids (we got all the kids who were kicked out from six districts) so I was always nervous but they were so sweet to him.

I am at work, I don't want to be. I hope we get to leave early today. I consistently now wake up around 3:30 to pee, when I try to go back to sleep my real bad nausea kicks in and it takes me 15-20 minutes to fall back asleep. I am so tired.

Not slow here but I'm surprised we haven't run out of loaner cars, yet. Out of 60+ cars, we only have 5 remaining. *sigh* And I'm in a horrible mood. Damn hormones.
thelittleredm nothing. Lol. I drink lots of water. I've never actually puked, I just feel right on the verge anytime I think of food, or of moving, or of anything apparently right now. Omg, way worse than the last few days of *pretend nausea*

I was told to start taking ginger pills, Unisom (in half tablets), and B6 on a schedule throughout the day and it's helped SO MUCH. Like, it's a lot because I'm awful at talking pills and remembering to take them but I'm so happy to have some relief.
I slept like crap last night and so I feel like crap today. I thought I had to come into work because I'm hourly and didn't want to lose my holiday pay but now there's some question as to whether I could have taken a sick day today. I'm sitting here dying while waiting for my boss to get clarification. I wish she'd hurry up dammit!!!!

heybulldog56, glad things went well with your DS! Enjoy the rest of your day as much as you can. eameselephant, good luck with your blood work! Will you get results today? Enjoy your trip to Target too!
Hugs to all you mamas struggling today.
I'm working from home again today, which is nice because it's really slow and raining outside. My boss told the team to shut down early today if possible and I'm all over that suggestion. We're leaving tomorrow to head to the lake (my parents have a cabin in WI) so I'm going to do some packing when I'm done. My nausea has increased substantially lately but luckily still no vomiting. I want to try and enjoy the weekend even if I'm feeling crappy.

I have ginger chews and sucking candies. It helps. I haven't asked about b6 or unisom yet. I have an appointment on Tuesday so I may ask. My nausea during the day is mostly food related, seeing food makes me nausea.

Thanks ladies! It's supposed to storm this weekend but hopefully it won't be a complete washout. I'm actually looking forward to getting a little break from DD. She is obsessed with my parents and her little cousin so it's nice to just get a little space once in awhile.

DH and DS both have the day off from work/school so I keep thinking today is Saturday. Went out for a walk this morning (too humid to run) and running some errands this afternoon. I was going to take the kiddos to the science center but DS asked if we could just have a lazy day today. High freaking five, little man. You get me.
DD has been sick during the night the past two nights and didn't nap yesterday so now she is catching up on sleep....it's 9am and she's still sleeping! Only problem is that she is in my bed with me and if I get up I risk waking her up and she freaks out if she wakes up and I'm not here. My mom is visiting from out of town and has been up for like two hours chillin in the living room by herself so I think I'm going to attempt a stealthy exit from bed. Hopefully this goes well!

Recommend me your ginger pills and candies!
Also thelittleredm can you share your B6/ unisom schedule?
With my son I basically had nausea all day from waking until dinner time but no vomiting. I could eat around it but it was pretty miserable. I tried some ginger things and B6 and nothing really seemed to help much.

silvermelody, So, I take a ginger pill, half a Unisom pill, and a B6 in the morning. I take the ginger and b6 as needed during the day (no more than 4 per day) and another half of Unisom around lunch time.
Due to health issues our good (and cheap) contractor had to cancel our bathroom remodel and can't get to us again until February due to a surgery he is having. Umm... That's not going to work for us.
I've been getting recommendations from friends and Angie's List and someone came out today and without even taking measurements they said it would easily be a $40-50k remodel. It was all I could do not to laugh.
We paid $35k to completely gut our kitchen (including moving appliances) and a powder room. There is no way that a 150 square foot bathroom should take $50k to remodel. And we would be stupid to pay that much because while we plan on this being a forever house there isn't a guarantee. We would never recoup that cost in a resale situation.
I get that we will have to pay more because our contractor is cheap (one man crew who is a friend and his wife is our accountant) but that is insane.

Oh hell no.
We are redoing our master bath ourselves. It's been... A process... Mostly because of depression.
But it's also only costing us $3k including a $1500 bath tub, so there's that
