What's on your agendas today? I'm trying to find motivation to exercise, so obviously I'm here instead.
H and I have some running around to do: we're headed to lowe's for odds and ends, then to SAMs club for stuff for our little cookout tomorrow! He doesn't usually have off Saturdays so I'm excited to hang out with him an extra day this week.
Also: we found a daycare that sounds fabulous online, and it's the only one I found that has its prices actually listed. That means it's actually a terrible place with rusty nails sticking out of walls, neglectful supervisors, and a garbage pile in the play yard, right? Too good to be true and all that. I hope things continue to go well so I can check them out in the upcoming weeks.
IVF+ICSI March 2016 (6R/5M/5F - 3 embryos on ice) 4/7/16: first ever BFP! EDD: 12/17/16 DS Arrived via C-Section 12/19/16! FET #1 June 2019 - 1 embryo didn't survive thaw & the one that did didn't stick around. BFN FET #2 September 2019 - last embryo didn't survive thaw.

We bought a new car last night so we have to go back to the dealership to finish up some paperwork and put our down payment down. I'm so freaking excited!!

Morning! Sleeping in is not on the agenda according to DS. I made pancakes for breakfast. I plan on cleaning the house but as long as I start tackling the closets I'll be happy.

Twinsies littlelion. DH is taking DS to a birthday party and because it takes so long to get there I am going to have like five hours to myself! I tackled DS's closet this morning and am going to do mine soon. Hanna Andersson is having a sale so I ordered some more shorts and tees for DS. I did go maternity clothes shopping on Friday and picked up a few things including a dress for the wedding I have when I am 15 weeks -- it is super cute and doesn't scream maternity -- but none of it is returnable since I got a Memorial Day discount so now of course I'm worried about jinxing my pregnancy even though I don't believe in the jinx! But the bloat was making it really difficult to fit into my pre-preg work clothes!

Buuuut I just discovered this blog and DH suggested I rest so maybe I'll read blog instead? I am like a sucker for a beautifully photographed blog about minimalism/small square footage and kiddos. Maybe this will be closet cleaning inspiration.
legalbeagle I also need to clear out DS drawers of 18 mo clothes. But it makes me sad to do so. And that's an interesting blog. I love all her maternity outfit suggestions! Except for booties. After this long winter I'm done with that...now it's all about the flats or wedges.

After almost three years of TTC, IVF #1 = Menopur + Follistim + other stuff. Retrieved 14, 12 mature, 7 fertilized, only 1 (6AA) made it to day 5 blast. BFP! DD born 12-10-2016

babycowbell , I just discovered her from another minimalist mom blog I follow. Also Canadian and so good: theminimalistmom.com
I gotta start thinking about getting rid of stuff/more storage options since we're adding kiddo 2. But at 1200 square feet my apartment seems palatial compared to these minimalist blogs!

Mmmm food. H and I are making burgers and dogs on the grill tonight. I hung my clothes out on the clothesline to dry and cut back my dead tulip remains and continued to weed (where does all this shit come from??) and I planted some other plants we got from our second sympathy basket. I took a nap and now i have a headache. Ready for foooooood!
H has been a busy little bee out in the yard, too. He's cutting the grass and planted some arborvitae along the back of our property line. They're cute little babies right now but should be approx 15' tall when all is said and done.

Dh is at an all day board game day. Normally I'd go but I don't trust my nausea. So I'm snuggling with the furbabies watching(ok rewatching for the 10th time) West Wing. I finally realized yesterday that being in the car makes my nausea way worse.

Sitting here working on my end of the year slideshow for my kindergarten class and also now reading this 600 sq ft blog. Now I want these bunk beds!
I feel like I can feel the baby moving when I'm sitting down like this. I'm only 12 weeks so it doesn't make sense but what the heck is it? I think last time I didn't feel it til 18 weeks or so.
We live in 704 sq ft with 5 people, a cat and a dog and one more on the way. Maybe I should start a blog, lol. Except, actually, it blows and I can't wait until we can move next summer. It constantly feels like this place is in chaos. It was easier to keep things clean when the kids were little. Now that we have 2 8 year olds and a 9 year old, I just feel like I'm living in dirt all the time. I've lost it multiple times this weekend because they make messes and don't clean up after themselves. You'd think they'd get tired of me yelling at them all the time, but NOPE. If they drop something, it stays dropped until I yell at them to pick it up. If it's spilled, it stays spilled. If they pull it out, it stays out. It's infuriating.
Wow, I didn't expect to go off on a rant... that's actually what I've been doing most of my Saturday: Cleaning, and running errands.

redsoxgirl10, don't they say (whomever "they" are...) that it's possible to feel movement earlier in subsequent pregnancies?
Lucy, I can't even imagine 704 sqft with all those people. I lived in a 400 sqft apartment with my two cats and I felt like I was suffocating lol. Can't imagine.

I love all those minimalist blogs. Our place is somewhere between 1000 and 1100 square feet and I love it. Who the heck wants to clean more than that? Anyone else here a fan of Marie Kondo?

This is exactly my criteria when H and I were looking at houses last year. Our house is approx 1300 sqft. Bigger houses=more to clean!!! Yeesh.

DH took DD out for the morning. They went to breakfast, the park, the grocery store, and will come back with lunch for me. I told him I need McAlister's sweet tea and don't come back without it. Haha! So I slept in, then vacuumed, cleaned our bathroom, and started laundry. Now I'm sitting on the couch in complete silence with my cat on my lap. After they come back and DD takes her nap we may go swim if it doesn't rain in the afternoon.

I love that this was bumped from last weekend. Mostly so I could comment on Lucy: omg 700 square feet! You SHOULD have a blog.
Barre this morning, soccer with DS (was on a conference call for most of it unfortunately) followed by tacos for lunch, nap and then Jack-n-Jill shower. It was really more of just a party than a traditional shower and they let us bring DS, which was so so nice. NOTHING planned for tomorrow except some stuff around the apartment.
I spent most of the morning driving all over looking for some transitional maternity pants and some maternity leggings. Struck out so I hit the internet. DH and I took an epic nap and now it's time for Stanlet Cup Finals.

I got some cropped leggings on the Motherhood website. They were buy on get one 50% off. I always wear leggings under dresses so I really wanted to find some, Target had every size but mine.
