broadwaymama I'm so happy for your DH. I was so sad for you when he got laid off before the holiday season. I know the timing isn't great with the new baby coming, but I'm really happy that he found work.

txmommy14 I commiserate with no sleep. I have been getting about 4-6 hours a day broken into several short naps. I have a lot of trouble sleeping during the day even when I'm exhausted, and my LO is a night owl.

We made the crib to floor bed trade for my toddler yesterday like many of you have mentioned doing too. He appears to have slept most of the night on the floor but he slept so I'll take it. Nap time was rough to start but he's out so I'm calling it a success. And I feel so much more "ready" now, lol. We have organizing to do but all the big stuff is basically done.

I love holidays. We made it to the amusement park today for DS and I stopped at osk kosh on the way home and got him some things. Now we are picking up around the house and getting stuff done. DH is installing the car seat and I packed diaper bags. We set up the pack n play in our room last night too. Two weeks to go! Tomorrow is our anniversary and I really just want to make it to June so it's looking favorable!
My mom told me today: "you're the biggest pregnant woman I've ever seen" "If I just saw you on the street I would confidently bet a lot of money on multiples". "I cannot believe you could possibly be pregnant another week. You're huge!"

Anyone else have groin pain? Oh man it's so bad. And not to be gross but it's the worst when I go to the bathroom! I don't remember it from other pregnancies.

I think it's my groin. The best way to describe it is the bones near my crotch. It hurts to get up and is sore when I walk. It just started a few days ago, and I'm sure it will be here to stay for the next four weeks.

+1. Mine's worst when I first stand up after lying down for awhile.

Uhhhh, thanks. "
For real? Ugh, sorry, I don't even know how I would respond, especially by the third comment.

+2 It felt like my pelvis completely separated prior to him being born and made it nearly impossible to get up after lying down. Now, it's the only thing still sore after and I'm hoping it's just things moving back together.
My pelvis was, and is still achy. I can't bend over at all, partly due to abdominal pain from cesarean, but also due to pelvic pain that has existed since before the baby was born. Getting into/out of bed, the car, and on off toilet is rough. Basically low or high seated positions.
bgkc4 I'm sorry that sounds painful. What's the recovery time for a c section? I know your close with your mom.... Is she spending a lot of time with you the next few weeks?
I forgot to share my exciting ds news... I was getting ready to go to our friends house and he came up to me and said mama with a worried face. I rushed him to the toilet and he pooped in the toilet for the first time. Dh and I were so excited. Let's hope it wasn't just a fluke he told me and he'll keep this up a little.
mladerri congrats on the poop! I hope he keeps it up! My DS was pooping on the toilet, but now he refuses and he specifically asks for a fresh diaper to poop into. I don't have the energy to fight this battle right now, so I happily provide the fresh diaper. At least he announces that he's going to poop. I feel like that's progress.
babyzebra I would totally consider that progress! Ds never tells us he needs to go to the bathroom. Our potty training is just us taking him every 30 Minutes that's why I was in such shock when he came up to me. I'm far too lazy for potty training. I'm part of the problem.

This is my problem as well. I find diapers to be much easier than attempting to convince a tiny little human that he should stop playing with his toys to go sit on some cold, big ring to go to the bathroom. Everyone around me has been urging me on to prevent having 2 in diapers, but honestly, 1 in diapers and 1 newly potty trained sounds way worse than 2 in diapers! I think we're just going to do the 3 day method a few months from now. Hopefully that will work!

I could have written this. Diapers are so easy. Potty training effort is not.
