I am sad I missed this. We've been replacing all the interior doors this weekend so I could use a drink! It's the project that never ends
OMG We did that a couple of summers ago. It really doesn't ever seem to end! You never realize how many doors you have until you replace them all. I painted all fucking summer.
It's so worth it in the end, though. It was a major facelift for the interior of our home Good luck!

Are you replacing the frames or just hanging new doors? We have a really old house that was remodeled in the 70s. They put in ugly hollow core doors and now we have to replace them all. But because our house is so old and has settled the door frames aren't square anymore so we have to tear them out to replace them. I'm so intimidated lol. So so many doors.

We can get away with just the doors, but at this point I don't know if either way would have been easier. The old doors had the knobs 38" inches high, the new doors are all standard 36" high. So we have to redo the latch holes, plug the old ones, sand, touch up paint etc on every door. Also since we are using the original frames, all of the doors need to be sanded, trimmed etc to fit into the not so square frames. I think no matter how you do it, it's a big job and like every other project it snowballs into more work little by little. It does look so much better though...
YES! Our house is one big never ending reno project. I mean, this is why we bought a fixer-upper. So we could make it into exactly what we want. But some days I question our sanity lol
