Sorry this is late and I apologize for the lack of a due date list. If anyone wants to start this up every week jump in! This is either my last or second to last pregnancy check-in.
bexincanada-- hope you and your baby are doing well. I just realized you may have already given birth as I think you are one or two weeks ahead of me. I hope your baby is healthy and that the surgeries go well. Ive been thinking and praying for you all and will continue to do so.
I gave birth to C at 39 weeks so it's starting to feel very real and soon. Had ultrasound, NST, and OB appt today. Everything looked good. Baby is 7 lb 7 oz. estimated. While my ob was checking my cervix she asked me if I wanted her to separate my membranes and I said "sure". I know I would rather go into labor before they induce me next week. But I don't think I realized how likely that can cause you to go into labor so now I am freaking out a bit. I read 50% of people can go into labor 24-48 hours after. But who knows. I was almost 3 cm. I forgot how to ask how effaced but I was 80-90% last time.
I feel like I'm as ready as I will be at this point. There are still things I could do around house but I have been so exhausted I feel like I might as well have the baby sooner than later.
M is 30 weeks (I think) ugh I'm so bad. She failed the 1 hr glucose test and did the three hour last week. They havent called so we are assuming she passed. Next midwife appt is Monday. M says that this baby is much more active than O was. I'm terrified by this, O is such an active kid, I can't imagine more!
We really havent done much to prepare for this baby yet. I don't even know if the nursery furniture will arrive by his/her birth since we haven't even ordered it yet! We don't really need it here by the birth but I don't want to have to deal with putting a nursery together and care for a toddler and a newborn. Obviously we have most things from O but it's weird to feel so different than when we had O. I'm not stressed yet but we need to get in gear.

If it makes you feel better I still don't have the baby's dresser assembled. I like assembling furniture too!
Hello all! I finally finished my school year, so my brain is available for things like the internet again. Huzzah!
I am almost 30 weeks, I think? Wow. Baby kicks and wiggles a lot, especially in the evenings. We start our birth class on Sunday, which I'm pumped about. We get to tour the maternity wing of the hospital, etc. Baby shower in early July! The baby's room isn't really a nursery, since it has to be a guest room, store a bunch of stuff and keep our grumpy cat safe from our old cat. But we've got storage and stuff all set up, and I sorted one million tiny used baby clothes into little boxes.
And now I'd like to take a nap, before I go to the grocery store and go do some math tutoring!
