DS is 3mo today. On Tuesday he was diagnosed with RSV. He's been sleeping a ton and when he's awake, he's miserable. He's showing hunger cues, though not nearly alas often as usual, but when he nurses he only eats for a few minutes and then gives up. I imagine it's because he's not really hungry and it's probably hard for him to breathe. As a result, my breasts are pretty full and uncomfortable. I'm worried about this affecting my supply since this has been going on for 5 days now. Should I pump after he nurses? I've tried all the usual tricks to help with the congestion, as well as trying multiple nursing positions and nothing really seems to be helping. Also, he seems to be eating enough to avoid dehydration because he's still producing wet/dirty diapers, tears, and saliva.
(Sorry for the wall-o-text, I'm a stressed out FTM.)
