Because he wants to go with daddy to work Because he wants to buckle his car seat He wants to put on his diaper He wants Ice(frozen ice pop) He wants to bother his brother He doesn't want to nap
I have another car one: It was a balmy 80 degree day and she was upset I wouldn't let her stay in the car all day while I go to work.
Her favorite show(ok the only thing she will watch)is "pumpkin monkey" (which is the Curious George Halloween special). In the show there is a scarecrow named no noggin, because well he has no noggin (clever). Anyway, DD likes to pretend she is no noggin and walk around with a bag on her head...ya about that honey.

It's been hot in NY lately (finally!) and DD keeps flipping out at bedtime wanting her "comfy Jammies". There's no way I'm going to put her in a fleece one piece when her room is 75 degrees already!

We were camping, and there were pinecones and rocks on the ground.
fiveohfive, we have the same argument about the fleece jammies lately! Some mornings I come into her room to find her wearing them over top of her other pajamas.
Because they are twins. Because I called them little girls. Because I won't give them stickers if they don't pee/poop in the potty. (Our reward system) Because I pre-ordered a Stay Puft Marshmallow Man from Build A Bear. (They have never seen Ghostbusters, but they are terrified of him nonetheless.) Because I gave them oatmeal for breakfast instead of bananas. Because I gave them bananas for breakfast instead of oatmeal. Because I didn't put socks on them in 90 degree heat. Because I threw their stuffed animals into the cribs and they wanted to do it. Because I left their bedroom after roughly two dozen hugs and kisses apiece. Clearly that wasn't enough. Because I dared to put on a Disney movie that they hadn't seen before. (Couple of times so far, and each time they've wound up loving the movie.)
Because she handed me her Minnie Mouse when she actually wanted to hold the Minnie Mouse herself. Because she asked for chocolate milk and we gave her chocolate milk. Because naptime was over. Because we put her hair up in a ponytail. (Wound up loving it a few minutes later.) Because we told them we were giving them "big girl beds." (Switched the crib to daybed.) PS - they were so super excited and happy once they saw the change. Because, in the interest of saving time, I didn't allow them to climb into the van/car seats themselves.

Because he wants to give "Autin"(Austin, he can say his actual name when he wants to) a hug.. Even though he gave him 5 hugs
He wants to say hey to katie(my sister) He wants to swim We leave the pool(my sisters) He wants in his pool at home He wants in his brothers car seat(rear facing) He wants to ride like a big boy with the seatbelt He wants to buckle his own car seat He wants to play with his brother He gets to play with brother His brother took his toy
Because she couldn't physically pull herself (in her chair) any closer to the table (small princess table and chair set). Because her sister had the plastic lemon. Not like we don't own 9,000 other toys and toy foods. Because I won't let her squeeze her full juice box/carry it to the table because she squeezes it. Because I turned the cartoons off to watch something else while their father was playing with them in another room so I could have dinner. Because grass got on her feet while playing with the sprinkler. Because the Cinderella Pull-Ups are only for bedtime.
Because she wanted a blue lid on her yellow cup (the yellow cup does not have lids, so I offered her a cup that had a blue lid, but nope nope nope she wanted the blue lid on the yellow cup). This was really traumatizing, we ended up sitting together on the kitchen floor with her blanket while she was covered in tears and snot and on the verge of hyperventilating.
