Other than needing to go to the grocery store, there isn't much going on here today. I may set up a little experiment for DD1 to play with and see how that goes.
It's going to be so nice out today, yay! Im taking the kids to my mom's for a little bit while i go for a run and then we have gymnastics, a dunkin donuts coffee run, the grocery store, the park, and then lunch at whole foods. I have some calls and work around the house to do in the afternoon so my mom will stop by for a bit. Dh comes home tomorrow.
Good morning! DD had a much better night last night. She barely coughed I've been up doing stuff since 7, which is early for me. So far I looked over our budget for the month, made the shopping list for our house, made the shopping list for the party, and found some last minute things I may or may not do for the party. I have to go shopping and hit the Dollar Tree. Is it crazy that I'm considering cutting 100 tiles out of cardboard to make outdoor Scrabble for the party in 2 days?
younglove316, tell us about the experiment? icequeen, that is a crazy busy morning penguin129, do not cut 100 tiles out of cardboard unless you think that sounds like great fun or you know someone who will love it.
DD is at morning summer camp at a neighborhood preschool. When she gets back, a moms' group friend is coming over with her 4 year-old for a playdate. I should probably clean... DS is 20 months and is hilarious--loves to hide and put things on his head and call them hats...but he still can wreck a room in 30 seconds.

You use an eye dropper to drop vinegar tinted with food coloring onto a sheet covered in baking soda. It fizzes all different colors. Thank you Pinterest!
I put on my Teacher's hat and looked around the house to think of a way around it. I ended up buying a pack of 100 paper plates. All I have to do is write the letters and points out and voila, backyard Scrabble
It's been a long day. DD has been whining non stop because she wants daddy to take her swimming. I tried asking her if I could take her, but that has only resulted in meltdowns. Hopefully, it'll get a little better when DH gets home.
Short day here. Fun playdate. DD is really becoming capable of playing with other kids which is very great for me. My son is 20 months but he is very independent, so I can just chill during playdates. Maybe I should take on some baby-sitting! Tomorrow the city pool opens...might be crazy, but maybe we'll try it. Hmm, need to buy a puddle jumper for the little one.
