Some one asked about this and I have a few minutes to put this together. We went to the one in MA (it's a chain) and I don't think they are all identical.
Overall I think this place is designed for kids age 5-8. There are activities all day long other than the water park (which is included in your room rate). There is morning kids yoga, a 'show' with the characters and story time every night. There was a science show on Friday night as well as a dance party. The water park definitely fits a wider range of ages. The area designed for smaller kids with parents is actually quite large and in two separate areas. O did not tire of doing the same water slide over and over again. There are also areas with tube water slides for kids over 42 inches tall, a wave pool and a other deeper pool areas with things to do. They provide life jackets for all different weight kids as well. In addition to all of that there are a LOT of arcade type games (very loud, very bright) and of course you have to walk through this area to get to the water park. They also have an indoor ropes course and a bunch of add on pay stuff (temporary tattoos, a kids spa).
Food options are typical amusement park fare other than one sit down restaurant. The food was expensive but that's to be expected I think. We had dinner one night in the restaurant and it was very kid friendly and had some healthier options. Since I need gluten free it was good for us and they were very aware of food allergies.
We had a standard room 2 queen beds, nothing fancy. Although there was a mini fridge and a microwave. There was a table to sit at and eat. There was enough room for O's pack n play. It met our needs just fine.
We went Wed-Sat and it definitely got much busier as it got closer to the weekend. That amount of time was perfect for us. We had a lot of fun but it's tiring chasing a toddler around a water park all day. It is quite warm (84 degrees I think) but O has no body fat and could only last about 45 minutes before she was blue and shaking and we had to take her out to warm her up. A lot of extra stuff was above her level or way after her bed time (story time is at 9). I think we will most likely go back again and it was just great for us to be away for a few days.
I hope someone finds this helpful!
