3. I drove to work today with my wife's keys and she needs to pick the kids up at daycare and be out of the house for a showing.
4. Our agent actually came by my work to get her keys and bring them to her. What a doll!
5. I have a head cold and am struggling to talk. Makes for a fun interpreting environment. "What'd you say..."
6. Can I complain anymore today....let see?
7. Tomorrow is the last day of playgroup and I'm thrilled. The other mommies there are not my people. I just can't with the kindergarten teacher voice.
8. I'm signing R up for gymnastics this summer. The times are less than ideal but I like him being a part of structured play/classes as opposed to the sh*t show I let him run at my house
9. L needs an activity too. Got to keep it equal.
10. I wish I could have a nice cold glass of Chardonnay.
1. I took the day off yesterday, and it was SUCH a good idea. We went to Babies R Us and got Lucie a high chair (she has been sitting in William's when he is not in it, but I wanted them to both sit at the table together!). We bought a few other items and picked up a few new Summer outfits for both kids. Then we went out to lunch as a 4some. Then home for naptime for William. He took a 3 hour nap!!!! I folded and organized EIGHT loads of laundry and started sorting and putting away clothes in all of our respective dressers/closets. It's a BIG job, but I made decent progress. I lugged an enormous amount of trash down our super steep driveway, and did a few other house chores. Finally starting to get settled a little!
2. I have a Dunkin Donuts coffee addiction that is getting out of control. DD coffee was what got me through our move, but now I want it ALWAYS.
3. Life is so expensive. I literally cannot believe the amount of money I have spent in the last 3 weeks. It is totally insane. I want to put us on a spending freeze, but I feel like my wife will not go for that.
4. We have already paid a plumber $1700 for various projects in the almost 3 weeks that we have owned this house. What the heck?!?!
5. I think I am going to weigh myself on Friday. It has been 4 weeks since I last weighed myself, and I think it is time. I think I have lost more, but I don't want to be disappointed if it is less than I think it is going to be...
6. Lucie is currently weaning off of her harness! Yay! She gets 6 hrs per day out of it. We usually do 1-7pm harness free. She loves it! She has her next ortho appointment tomorrow. Hopefully we can start weaning even more soon!
7. We officially have a 2 year old! William turned 2 on Saturday, and we had a party for him at a local park. It was very nice and low key. He had a great time, which is what is most important. I can't believe he is 2 already!
8. I have had a super hard time keeping up with this board lately. The move, my family visiting, and William's bday have totally taken over my world. I am hoping to be much better effective immediately!
9. Reese (our dog) seems to really like the new house. I am relieved!
10. I can't believe we live there. This big, beautiful house belongs to us? How did this happen? It doesn't feel real yet...
1. I am looking at keyless/remote deadbolts for our front door. C is going to be able to stay home/go home alone periodically when G is at swim practice/swim meets (the pool is in walking distance)but we aren't 100% confident he will lock the door correctly (the lock can be tricky.) If we do this, we can check to make sure the door is locked. Yes, I realize that it sounds like if he can't lock the door, he isn't old enough to stay home alone - but he'll just play PS4 (he's not a risk taker) and it is his attention to detail that we worry about. We can arm/disarm the house remotely.
2. That being said, it looks like in addition to a $200 lock, we need a $100 hub? Does anyone know about these things? Help.
3. I just realized that one of the swim meets is over an hour away and we need to be there at 7am on a Saturday morning. Ooof. We might be spending the night near the pool.
4. I am eating fresh pineapple. So good.
5. I hope L isn't as grumpy as she was last night. Holy crap.
6. The starbucks mobile ordering is awesome. I ordered my iced tea when I left the dentist this AM and it was ready when I walked in the door. The line was out the door. AMAZING.
7. G was invited to a sleepover this weekend. We haven't told C yet (he wasn't invited.) Need to find something to do with him.
8. This weekend is Pride. We haven't been in years. I was actually hoping to sneak down this weekend alone and meet up with friends. But our weekend is packed with kid activities.
9. I need new work pants.
10. I think most of our weekends through the summer are accounted for in some fashion.
ETA: The new Humans of New York? OMG. I am bawling at work.
2. For two nights in a row, M wakes up between 2-2:30 am ready to party.
3. After two weeks of 6-7 hours stretches, I need a nap in a major way!
4. MW and I have agreed that we have been eating out too much and that meal planning is back on the priority list.
5. Also, if we wouldn't feed it to M, we shouldn't be eating it ourselves.
6. With the exception of coffee.
7. I'm down 2 more pounds of pregnancy weight! Yay!
8. Speaking of meal planning, I have no idea what to make for dinner.
9. M is now fully mobile and all over the place. I thought we baby proofed things pretty well until this and now realize I need to find a way to keep the dog's bowls of out of reach.
10. My in-laws will be out in July while MW is oot. I get along with them very well, I just haven't spent time with them alone so I am a little nervous about it being awkward.
1. M and I voted this morning. I always feel like I'm stumbling when filling out my ballot. And then worry I checked the wrong box. But I'm pretty confident I checked the box I wanted to for the presidential candidate .
2. We got home late from Seattle last night. We didn't go to bed until almost 2. M was such a trooper but she's been pretty sleepy today. She slept pretty much our whole flight and our drive home.
3. We need to go to the grocery store later but first I need to decide what I'm going to make this week. I think we need to have some more protein.
4. I think M is growing. She seems so much bigger. And I've been so hungry lately.
5. I went on a couple morning island runs this weekend. Such beautiful views and so many birds. Perfect temperature early in the morning too. Later on, it got pretty warm.
CET's
6. I have to remember to go vote after work. It's the other direction from home, and I'm sure I'll be on autopilot by then.
7. I'm so ready for election year to be over. I don't even follow it all super closely, but it's all just so ridiculous this time around.
8. My airline just dropped a rather horrid set of changes on their frequent flyer program that drastically changes my travel lifestyle. I'm going through the phases of grief currently about it (this is only a slight exaggeration).
9. Our baby was a rockstar traveler the last few weeks. This makes #8 all that much more painful, because it'll make giving her the experiences I would like to a lot harder in the future.

1. My life feels like a whirl wind lately. I would really like things to settle down again.
2. I bought a new to me car today. My old car wouldn't pass inspection (unexpectedly). I've now had 3 cars in less than 2 years. I was upset but I've moved past it now. It's just frustrating and an added expense.
3. I got O to fall asleep on her own in her crib today. This is the first time ever. I was sure that was the reason she still doesn't sleep well. Alas she was up an hour later. I am at my wits end with my wonderful daughter and her inability to sleep.
4. She was awesome in the car for our trip though. She did nap on both drives and was a very happy kid. That was a nice surprise.
5. I know I posted about this, but we had such a great time on our trip. M and I both feel we are doomed now having another one. We are still figuring this one out!
6. I am really trying to lose at least 10#. I am tired of how I feel in my own skin and how none of my clothes fit. And I'm starving right now.
7. I love live chat things. I'm getting insurance on my car as I type. I am one of those people who avoids talking on the phone at all costs, so this is awesome for me.
8. I think I need a snack. This is why I will never lose weight...Ugh!
9. O has started singing. It's really adorable. It still amazes me how much I love that child.
