It's supposed to be 90 degrees here today! So hot! We had a lot we wanted to do outside but I just don't know if it's going to happen today. Tomorrow or Monday might be a better day for it. There's an annual festival going on down the street from our sub today. There's rides and food and games and music. We've never been but we might head there tonight to get some yummy carnival food and check it out.
I got confirmation this morning that they got a sub for me so I can work summer school AND take a week off to go to Florida. So yay for that!
where in florida, I went to Captive Island last week and it was really nice.
We're going to spend a few nights in Orlando to go to Harry Potter world and then we'll head over to Clearwater Beach to spend a couple more nights for our anniversary.
Good morning!! I got up before 6 for no reason. But then H took me to breakfast to make up for being a wet blanket last night. I got pancakes and they were amazing. I have a haircut later...I want to do highlights but with our financial situation and uncertainty I know I should do something with less upkeep. Boo.
I need a haircut so badly but H and I just started sharing money and I don't need him to know how much I spend at the salon.
I got my hair done yesterday and I think mh is in shock at the price. I didn't even get anything fancy done and I know it's not the most expensive place here...

If someone is going to make a stupidly judgmental comment like "are you really going to eat that?" Then they have no right to get all irrationally annoyed and offended when you end up not eating it. I mean what did they expect?
And because this is vague posty I'm referring to my husband who judged my choice of lunch

I am from New England and H is from Northern IL, we would totally have the heat on.
Haha ok I guess I just hate the heat on ever. I want every day to feel like fall. Also kinda life twins with us being from New England and husbands being from The Midwest
Also fair! I am cold aaallll the time. We're in NC now, but will be moving back up to NE next year
We ended up skipping Veganfest. I didn't set an alarm and we slept right till 11am. I didn't have the heart to get the dogs out and then put them right back in their crates for hours. Nor did I have the heart to head to an outdoor festival in 90+ degree weather. So today we'll do yard work, play with the dogs, and have a movie night on the couch. I am excited.
I don't think H has any idea how much I spend on my hair, and I'd like to keep it that way. We have separate finances, though.
We did for 3 years. Now h wants to pay off all debt and save together. Whatever.
We have joint accounts, we just don't really keep anything in there. We tried, and sort of succeeded for a few months. Meh. My main focus right now is paying off my remaining student loan.
I just got a new StitchFix and I love it (well, how they look, still have to try them all on). And they sent me this vegan leather bag that is bigger than I normally get, but it's cheaper to buy all the the pieces than to leave that one out so I'll probably end up with it all
I'm putting off trying the clothes on because some of my shorts didn't fit recently, and those are the measurements StitchFix has. But the Whole30 and dietbet should take care of that, right?

I miss stitchfix icedtea I got annoyed that I kept sending back saying nothing fits and they kept sending me the same sizes...I even went in and fixed some measurements. The first few were so great. Maybe I'll try it again if I lose this GKU stress weight.
I'm at the hair place now. Going to go redder since that's easier to grow out than highlights when I run out of money. I like to change it up.

wannabmama, I had a couple fixes like that and sent rather...strongly worded responses. I was polite, but pointed out how awful they were being. It seemed to get better after that. I've also heard you can request a new stylist (not sure if you had the same one each time). I apparently had Stephanie this time, I'm going to see if I can get her every time.
