I got a Plated box today! Having vegetable tostadas for dinner tonight.
Me too! We're doing the charred eggplant tonight (I'll sub in cauliflower rice for my quinoa).
Yum, that one looked good. There were so many good choices for this week! I'm getting grilled vodka sauce pizza with goat cheese next week. I'm pretty excited about that one.

wannabmama, I had a couple fixes like that and sent rather...strongly worded responses. I was polite, but pointed out how awful they were being. It seemed to get better after that. I've also heard you can request a new stylist (not sure if you had the same one each time). I apparently had Stephanie this time, I'm going to see if I can get her every time.
I tried the letter a couple times but nothing seemed to change I should look back and see if I had different stylist. I feel like the style changed at one point so I think stylist must have changed. If I go back I'll demand someone new for sure. Stitchfix does not factor into our current austerity measures though. Sigh. I need money.
TTC since July 2014. CP March 2015. IVF #1 March 2016, 5R, 3M, 2F with ICSI. Transferred 2 on day 3. CP. Surprise BFP and then CP August 2016 (prep cycle for IVF). IVF #2: zero eggs retrieved IVF #3: 6R, 5M, 5F, 3 (2 8A and 1 11A) transferred, one "B" graded embryo frozen on day 5. BFP (at home 7dp3dt, confirmed 14dp3dt with 1552 beta) and U/S at 5w5d, 2 sacs and 2 yolks!

I decided to stop stitch fix because of cost. I can buy more clothes (from online sales) for the same amount of money. AND I can pick what I want.
It's definitely not cheap. I'm really bad at going outside my comfort zone for clothes (at one point my mom begged me to buy something that wasn't black/tan/gray), so it's been good for that. I wouldn't use it as my main clothing source, though.

Yeah I only did every other month just to add a few more fun things into my repertoire, bc I'm super boring left to my own devices.

I have so much I need to do but so tired. Trying to convince myself I can be lazy the rest of today and that will help me be more efficient tomorrow...or something.

Baby birthday party went totally fine! The books we picked out were a hit!
We even stayed a little longer than we originally planned because suddenly in the middle of the party like two thirds of the guests left before they opened presents. DH's cousin was visibly upset by this so we stuck around and even helped clean up some. So that was good.
Now we are headed home to probably do some yard work. It's so hot though!

You need to be watching important horse races from the couch.

I am doing that! With champagne!! (Decided that was even better than wine!) Placed a couple bets...ready for this!

It was kind of a mixture of things. A few people had other events to get to. Then there were some people who I think were afraid they were going to get hit by some water balloons that the kids were playing with. I am also not sure if people thought that they weren't opening presents because the water balloons kind of seemed like an end of party activity? DH's dad left purely because he was tired of being there. That I know for a fact. It is kind of typical behavior for him.
