I'm headed up to our family camp for the day. It's overcast with a chance a showers but still looking forward to the peace and quiet of the Adirondacks and maybe a boat ride. We have dinner reservations at a delicious spot - must have bang bang shrimp.

I'm just laying in bed TCF-ing waiting for MH to come home with bagels. Then some breakfast and coffee on the couch followed by finally getting going (for real this time!) on cleaning out the nursery-to-be.

singingsea, mine are sleeping in...but we let them stay up till 10:30 last night. You pay on one end or the other, haha.
I want dessertfest too, sodapop, that sounds amazing!
I got up at 6 with the dog and promptly fell back asleep on the couch. Need to get started on frosting cupcakes for DS's party and send DH to pick up last minute stuff. I want to just sit and drink coffee and watch the food network all morning.
I am in New England. But it's still a 6 1/2 hour drive to Ottawa!!
That's nothing! :-p
Haha, after the drives I did during the summer with my mom growing up 6 1/2 hours really isn't that bad to me. But for a spur of the moment weekend trip when I have to pee every half hour? A little far! lol
We went and saw Now You See Me 2 with some friends last night and then had a late dinner. H woke me up at like 7, but since he took care of the dogs I went back to sleep.
Today we're going to go talk to a builder and see about making sure the house we want to build will fit on the lot we want to buy. If all goes well, we'll put an offer on the lot Monday. We found out yesterday that our debt to income and credit scores are high enough that we can be approved for our construction loan and the regular home loan we'd need after building is done even while we still own our current house, which takes some of the pressure off in terms of selling our current place by the time the new house is move in ready.
We went to the pool at my parents and my H and my LO were just adorable in the water. I was brave enough to try on my maternity swimsuit and it actually didn't look as horrible as I expected it to!
Back home and I'm exhausted. Didn't take pictures because I was crazy and I had to manage a 3 year old and all the desserts. I didn't have time to eat there so I took my leftovers home!

Boo. S'16 has not had good luck with appliances. Our toaster oven went the other day, but it seems like it might just be a blown fuse so MH is hopeful he can fix it.

Got DD toddler bedding and some new clothes and shoes, hung out with my parents for a while while DH and DS played yugioh at the comic book store, then went to round table... and that sucked. I told them to get me the salad bar and then I'd have a slice of their pizza too. I don't eat pepperoni but I don't have a problem picking it off the pizza, but they got it with bacon bits too... and that can't be picked off cuz it's small bits that get all up in all the cheese (I stopped eating meat for a few years, and after I started eating it again i couldn't eat bacon because it makes me sick, and DH knows this). So I got to eat a garden salad and watch them eat pizza. I almost cried there at the table, I really wanted pizza. DS felt soooo bad, DH didnt seem to care. Now we're home and nothing sounds good to eat.... and I'm starving
On a mini family vacation in ME this weekend. Met up with a college roommate and her family today at a wildlife park. So much walking this weekend but it's been fun.
DS has been a little more testy than usual but overall well behaved, but pregnancy insomnia and hotels don't mix. I've been up for the past hour after getting woken up by drunk kids in the hallway. Last night I was up over 2 hours.
