We have the truck and DS used to use it as a jungle gym. We got it for his 1st birthday. Now he's a little bigger he likes it as a car and I think he likes that he can put stuff in the bed of the truck.
I think we are going to get him a kitchen this year. Now that we've moved we have a play room so we have a place to put toys without overwhelming the living room.

I like the blue truck
We're already done. I got some Minne Mouse things (figures, dresses, outfits, blocks, learning board), plus a Hello Kitty outfit each. Also a Minnie Mouse Bow light up stuffed toy for DD1, and Daniel Tiger talking toy for DD2 from Target. They already did build a bear dolls early as part of their present too.
I'm thinking something like this folding scooter. We don't have room for more big indoor toys so probably an outdoor toy and some new books, coloring stuff, etc.
We aren't doing much because $, and he will get other gifts from family. Thinking a little basketball hoop. Maybe a learning toy or some outdoor stuff. Haven't even looked yet.

We are just doing the cozy coupe. They do get so much from family, and lord knows we don't need more toys. I love when people get clothes and books for them.
We got him a little trampoline. All the gifts I want to get him im telling everyone else that asks what he wants to get. Like a car ramp, more mega blocks, learning toys.

DH and I are still arguing about a play house or a swing set.
DH's brother and sister found a Frozen jeep (the bigger, two seater kind) for a crazy good deal on a garage sale website, so she's getting that from them. I am SO pumped! She is going to love it!
I also want to get her some of the Little Tikes grip balls for the backyard. We went to a bday party yesterday and they had a bunch around the yard and she LOVED them.

We found the fire truck for $60 at toys r us today. At the register we found out an employee put it in the wrong spot so it was really $80, they offered to honor the lower price. Woohoo
I'm telling other people the following: - balls (not foam) - playdough and accessories - craft stuff - finger paint, brushes, etc - puzzles, - bath tub crayons (we are moving her into a different room and will be in the guest bath now which has tile all the way up the walls unlike the tub in our bathroom) - magnets (one side of the easel is magnetic) - skip hop backpack (to match her lunch box)

The fire truck is on Amazon's Deal of the Day for $48 today!!!
We probably won't get her anything. She needs nothing, and our families will do more than enough. I know she has a push bike coming to her as a hand me down. We're asking for beach toys and coloring books, if anyone asks.
DS loves to getting in the front seat of the car and push buttons and "ride". I wanted to get him some sort of car toy; he looks too young for power wheels plus $, but is he too old for a cozy coupe?

No, we got DS a cozy truck for his 1st birthday because my husband loved it. This summer he's just now starting to use it as more than a climbing device so I think this is a great age for one.
lucanjo14 he's definitely not too old for a cozy coupe. When a worked at a preschool the 3 year olds used to fight over them constantly!! I think he'd love one!

DD got a knock off power wheels for her birthday and both kids love it. I'm sure t wasn't pricey because it was a gift from my brother and they had also gotten one for their little girl

lucanjo14, I think 2 is the perfect age for a cozy coupe! My four year old still uses one sometimes and I think my oldest would too if he could still fit in it. Haha

DD loves her "beep beep", as she calls it. She plays with it every time we're in the backyard.
