It's been a bad weekend with G having a low grade fever... We just ran to get her some ibuprofen and when we came back I went to go pee and found blood. It wasn't bright red, more of a brownish red but I called into my Drs triage anyway as it makes me nervous. They just called me back and while I was on the phone I could feel a bunch come out... About the same color.
The RN said that if I don't have any cramping, fever or other symptoms to just relax for the afternoon, and to see my dr tmrw. He's not in on Mondays so I'll have to see someone else but I'm terrified now. I have a Doppler which I used and found the hb right away. It's a little reassuring but not much.

hmr11913 big hugs, even if it's nothing it's unsettling. T&P's for you that it stops soon and tomorrow you get more reassurance. Try to relax and stay calm until then.
Thanks Hun. Im still bleeding, it's red but not bright red... I just changed my pad so I can gauge how much I'm bleeding. Just resting on the couch for the afternoon and using my Doppler every hour or two. Babys hb is still strong and easy to find. I'm so thankful for that thing!
We were going to go in today, however they paged the OB on staff today and he said that it would depend on the ER dr if they'd do an u/s or not and we figured since we can hear the hb that they probably wouldn't be able to tell us much else? Idk. It's an hour drive one way so I'd hate to go for nothing. I don't work tomorrow so I'm going to try to get in ASAP - and might as well bring G in too since she's got a little fever. My poor husband ... He's been a trooper!

I'm so sorry. I'm glad you are able to find such an awesome and strong heartbeat. Hope you get seen quickly tomorrow and get to see your little one! Thinking about you guys.

Thank you ladies. The spotting had turned into bleeding at one point lastnight, but not bright red... More of a maroon. It tappered off around bedtime and I didn't really have much overnight. It's still just spotting at this point and I was nervous to check my Doppler this morning but baby is still ok in there to my relief.
My dr doesn't open for 3 hours so I'm hoping time goes fast. For now I'm just laying back in bed with my little snuggler listening to the rain while she sleeps. I'll keep you all updated.
hmr11913, hugs! I had this happen with DS and it turned out to be bacterial vaginosis (I'm sure I spelled that wrong). If you have something similar, it's very treatable with antibiotics. Praying that you are seen quickly today! Keep us posted!
I have an u/s at 10:30 (in about an hour) and then will see another OB in the practice. This is the first u/s my husband couldn't come to... But I have G with me so I'm not alone. I'll let you guys know how it goes, if you pray... Say a prayer for our little squish.
Thank you all! Baby looked good on the u/s and was even wiggling around. The dr said they saw a small Subchorionic hemorrhage, but that he feels it'll resolve on its own. It's something like a tear by the membranes, I have to look it up more when I get home.
He said it could have even happened a week ago and that it's pretty common, sometimes it happens and you don't even know bc your body sometimes just reobsorbs the blood.
He seemed fairly confident that everything would be ok, especially since the bleeding stopped lastnight and now I don't really have much spotting even. I guess there's no cause, so just have to take it easy. For now I'm relieved, however it's scary that something happened for no apparent reason and just worried about if it'd get worse. (He basically said if it was a large tear it can sometimes detach the placenta, which obviously would result in a m/c)

hmr11913, that's great news! Don't worry about the what-ifs, that'll stress you out for no reason. Everything is fine now and just keep taking good care of yourself.
hmr11913 I'm glad to hear everything look ok with baby. I've never had one, but SCH's seem to be quite common. I've seen quite a few ladies on the PAIF and SAIF boards have them. I'm glad they were able to at least find a reason for it.
