Babies don't need to be constantly entertained, but if you are getting bored try to find local mommy & me type groups/activities many meet at parks and libraries.

Um...I talk to him a lot, but other than that I don't do anything to entertain him. I put him on his playmat when I need to get something done and he'll usually stay content for 10 minutes or so. I read him a book the other day. I'm mostly entertaining my toddler all day and he's along for the ride. Lol.

Mostly I'm dealing with the toddlers and A just hangs out and watches them. She will go onto her play mat or in the mamaroo or bouncy seat for about 15 minutes at a time if i need to put her down. I'm starting to sit her in the corner of the couch with a pillow on her lap as long as I'm sitting right there. The boys LOVE to talk to her and bring her toys. But she likes just watching and talking.
LO really likes toys that she can hold/shake. At first I had to put things right in her hand and help her grab on, but now she can grab them herself if you put them on her or near her. She likes music, books, and facing out so she looks around.

I'm seeing that this kid finds his big sister and his hands rather entertaining. It has been quite amazing to watch. But I typically make goofy faces and sounds, tickle him, bounce with him or kind of dance to some music.

She's pretty chill during the day. She likes to be held, play on the piano mat, bouncy seat, and watch big sister.
I think 3-6 months is the hardest of the first year. They are past the sleepy newborn stage, but not at the point where they can sit and entertain themselves playing or be mobile. You still have to do so much hands on entertaining.
