LO has a sore butt. I've been using Burt's bee and it's been working we. But he's been pooping a lot lately so he's sore. I soaked him in baking soda and I put a bit of cornstarch. Any other remedies out there? If it doesn't clear up by tomorrow I'll call pedi.
I like Butt Paste, I think it's similar to triple paste... Can I ask how bad it is? I'm just curious about the calling the doctor for diaper rash (or is it something else) is there something they can do? Is there a point at which you are supposed to call?

Could the chlorine from swim class be irritating to him? As for the actual rash. I prefer tons of diaper free time. Like put them on a blanket or towel you don't mind getting dirty/washing and just let them hang.

Red and a bit of blood. I thought maybe the chlorine too but it started Monday before class. Just don't want it to become a yeast infection

When does going back to work get easier? I'm just utterly and completely exhausted by the end of the day. I feel like I'm just going through the motions and not actually participating in anything at work or at home.
Got my hair cut. It feels nice to look a bit more decent. I also dont look to much like a teenager any more. Maybe the old ladies in the stores will stop giving me dirty looks.
To celebrate C's 3 month birthday, two year old brother dropped a baseball on her head. I freaked and we've been to the doctor. They say she's fine but if she starts acting weird being her back. It has been a very scary morning.
Having just gone through almost nine months of potty training, I will say, it seems like everything just clicks one day. I thought my 3yo was going to be in pull ups forever because she was so stubborn. And then one day (like very recently) it was something she decided she was going to do on her own. Now we only wear pull ups at night. I can't wait until she's night trained, but I've read that's more of a developmental thing and not necessarily training. Hang in there!

Oh no! I hope she's ok. Kid's are resilient and I bet she'll be fine, but it is still scary.

Im only at work 3 days a wk and I'm feeling exhausted too. I still have no.mu guilt too. My SIL is great with LO but she gets to be with him all day so I start to feel sad. #momproblems

Oh no! I hope she's doing ok. I hated when DS1 would hurt himself especially anywhere near the head region. It's always good to have her checked out.

I am having poop issues pp. I only go like every 3 days. It sucks. Sunday I went for the first time in maybe 4 days and I felt like I gave birth again.... sorry, TMI.
I had issues after DS1 and ended up having a colonoscopy and upper GI. They removed polyps and I was better. I really don't want to do another colonoscopy again. I woke up during the last 5 minutes. Never felt more violated in my life.

Yesterday my daycare lady texted me frantically telling me to hurry up because C was starving. She was quiet and content from the time I picked her up until 2 hours later. Mmmhmm. Starving.
Now today I forgot my bottles and have to wait until my lunch to run out and buy new ones before I can pump. Having a thinking of throwing in the towel kind of day.
Speaking of, PSA for Spectra moms: thank goodness I was too lazy to do dishes one day and discovered this hack. Evenflo classic bottles fit.
I was super pumped to find my Avent bottles fit the Spectra S2. Very handy. And the marks on my spectra bottles have completely worn off so I use my Avent bottles so I can see how much I've pumped.

I should be grateful and keep my mouth shut so I'm ranting here instead! My mom is doing a big favor and taking Emmy to PT today since I can't leave early since I put in my resignation.
She left daycare empty handed.... no diapers/wipes etc. We've been dealing with diaper rash so sitting in a dirty diaper an extra hour or two is a big deal. I'm livid, I specifically told her I left it for her to take and she told teacher that i'd get all her stuff when I pick up my son later. Trying to keep my cool but now i'm just thinking I'm not going to ask her to take her to PT i'll have to do it after work with 2 kids in tow

Can she pick up a pack of diapers and wipes at a store to get through? Mention you're fighting diaper rash and she really needs to be changed as soon as her diaper is dirty.

She was already at PT by the time I found out she left the bag
Serious question: how old is too old for someone (with kids) to have a nose and/or belly button piercing?
I don't have any piercings. I have attempted to pierce my ears three times and they always get infected and irritated, no matter the earrings. I was always afraid to try to pierce anything else.
LO had her first shower today and I think she liked it!
I've been thinking about doing this just to save time. I might try it soon!
We got pretty sandy at the beach and I didn't want her to just sit in the tub sandy so I thought I would rinse her and then bathe her but she was so calm I just had H bring us her shampoo and just washed her in there. She didn't get her cradle cap head toothbrushing but other than that super fun and easy!
