How old are your kiddos that you take them in the shower with you? I feel like that would be so slippery.
Someone on my old BMB recommended using a hand towel between you and LO, which is what I do when we do showers. I get her undressed and put her in the bouncer with the towel wrapped. Then I clean me before grabbing her. Does that make sense?

LO is 15 weeks, but I know someone on here did it much sooner. It wasn't so bad, the soap made it a little more so but she also wasn't trying to squirm out of my arms. The water kept her clinging to me.
I might try that towel trick next time!
I saw on IG someone BFing in the shower, now that's a talent
Serious question: how old is too old for someone (with kids) to have a nose and/or belly button piercing?
I don't think there is an age. It whenever you don't want them anymore. I took my belly button ring out (well actually it popped out on its own and I couldn't find the back) when I was pregnant with my first and never put it back in. Now I have an ugly hole.

Did an unintentional CIO. J is having a sleep strike day, and was crying and miserable because he's so tired. I was trying to console him unsuccessfully, so I put him in his crib where he immediately started smiling. Figured I'd give him some chill time while I put his froggy seat together. He started fussing again. Finished the seat, walked to his room, and when I was about 10 steps away, he went quiet. Sure enough, he (finally) feel asleep.
Part of me feels bad, but most of me is just happy he's asleep.

Don't feel bad. I wouldn't call it full on CIO but we let LO fuss herself down to sleep. If she cries for more than 3-5 min we go in, but usually calms down and goes to sleep. We also discovered it by accident. She has gotten really good at putting herself to sleep in her bassinet, as long as she is in the Merlin. We haven't tried it w.o the Merlin. She does 2 or 3 of her naps a day in the Merlin in her bassinet and puts herself down (and for the night) the others are on the go in the stroller/wearer/car or if I nap with her we just snuggle up in bed.

He definitely wasn't full on crying - just overtired whining. I figure I wasn't doing anything to help console him prior. He puts himself to sleep occasionally, but it's something we definitely want to increase as he gets older.

FFS! K has decided she must try to stand everytime I pull her up to sit. Slow your roll child. You still haven't perfected rolling and you sat once for 5 seconds. DNW mobile child anytime soon!
LO loves to pull things over her face. It's adorable and terrifying. Yesterday she pulled an entire bed pillow on top of her face. How are you that strong?

It's so crazy the changes that happen in a month! E is 11 weeks and sitting, standing, pulling things over his head seem forever away!

We are on vacation and my diet has sucked. I'm sure I've gained at least 5 lbs since Friday. I'm going to be really upset with myself when I get back and see the damage.
Naps have been awful for us this week. Is there such thing as an 11 week nap regression? Only half kidding
I wish we had a nap routine to fall out of! Can't complain about her sleeping though, since she's been STTN forever.. but girl will not nap! Just cat naps all day.
