Just for fun, please give me some opinions on DH's haircut. He has a "style" for the first time ever and is moaning and groaning about having to put some product in it. He says the guys he works with don't "do" their hair. But he's a manager, not field staff, so I feel like it's ok to look like he made some effort!
Anyway, here it is (bad pic but he was grumpy. Also he has shorts on I promise!)
And his "usual":
So if you think it looks good and not too "try hard" let me know so I can convince him. If you think it's better wild and free I will eat my words!
Will he consider just having you cut the rest of the top off if the current status of his hair is too much work?
I forget what field your H is in, but IMO in Pittsburgh it seems common/socially acceptable for your H to wear his hair like it normally is.... more common/socially acceptable than the DC area perhaps? So if you want to continue to encourage him to try it differently, go for it, but if he insists on having his hair like it usually is, maybe that is okay?

Widget123 yeah it's definitely passable to keep his crazy hair. It's mainly that I like it better styled
@babybean9 usually he has a similar cut but the top is only 1 inch long so he can just brush it down. That's what I'll do if he continues not to like it!
I think it looks better without whatever stuff he has in it in the first picture. But I'm a bad person to ask because I'm not a fan of styling products in general :-)
I'm more of an unstlyed, no product needed gal when it comes to men's hair so I like the usual much better. But I feel like there is quite a bit of room for in between the two without having to go all the way to the new style.

Very true, he usually just gets it all short and them grows it until it's an Afro, and repeat.
