I would leave the review with maybe 1 less star than normal. i would mention the shipping issue in the written portion but also about the good quality to make it well rounded:)
I would go ahead and leave a review stating the exact same information as she stated here. Nothing crazy like BUYER BEWARE!!!!! or anything like that. I think that is fair. However, if most of her reviews are very positive it might not have much impact. I know it wouldn't for me, but I am also a crazy planner who orders my Etsy stuff months in advance.

I'm a stickler for punctuality, so I'm on team one star. Plus, she made a promise and didn't keep it - that's not good business. You can mention that you liked the product, but at the end of the day, it was worthless to you because she didn't follow through. I know I would like that information about a seller if I were buying something time-sensitive.

I agree, I really don't think it's a shipping issue either, I don't know how USPS works but I would never get anything in 2 days where I am, and the fact it showed up in 3 days is really reasonable to me besides the fact it was late.
ETA saying, she should know that you need more than 2 days shipping to guarantee it, and she should have given you a heads up that it was happening if something came up on her end.

The thing is, you can control delivery date and ensure 2 day delivery. It costs more, but the seller knew you needed it by a certain date. The way I see it, she had three options. 1)send it out earlier 2)if she knew she wouldn't be able to send it earlier, tell you that you would need to pay for expedited shipping at the time of purchase. 3) if something came up where she couldn't send it earlier, pay for expedited shipping herself
What she actually did is not an appropriate option for someone running a business. I would definitely leave a response indicating that she failed to deliver the product by an agreed upon date so others who might have a deadline don't run into the same problem purchasing from her.
Personally I would leave a review stating exactly what you said, but I'd probably give 3 stars since I liked the product. Reviews really effect a business' reputation for potential buyers so unless I am truly pissed off about something I rarely give 1 star reviews.
On that note, now I think they deserve the low review. And what good does a discount on a future purchase help if you weren't fully satisfied with your first purchase?

I'd be mad at her reply. Not to mention, based on the dates you mentioned, it took her just over a week to ship. Poor customer service, she deserves one star.
If she shipped the 25th that's actually outside of the one week timeframe...glad you left her a one star review.
I guess, to be fair. The tracking leaves a little room for interpretation. It says a shipping label was created on the 24th and then it was accepted at a shipping facility on the 25th. Either way, she said yes when asked if it would be received by the 27th, not that she couldn't guarantee shipping times.
Or even "You know, that might be cutting it a little close. Do you want to pay for overnight shipping?"

For reference, I ordered BH's shirt from etsy. Had the colors customized because we didn't want the black and white version.
On May 23 I messaged the seller to see if I could get it by June 11. She said yes, if I ordered that day because she was going to have to order the vinyl and shirt in the colors I wanted, and that can take some time to get in. Even with her ordering the materials from a third party, she still managed to get it to me on time.
I'm legitimately annoyed she's making it seem like you dropped the ball by ordering too late.

Im glad you left the one star, and had a follow up chat with her over it. Im pissed for you that her response was irresponsible and unprofessional, and plain shitty. I'd be even more frustrated that I'd turned down another option that could have been successful because she misrepresented herself as capable of timliness. These types of interactions are everything, the least she could have done is own up and apologize after the fact, but really she should have just been honest upfront and been like, I forgot to put your order in the mail in time for it to get to you, and now it'll probably be late and it's ny fault so you get a refund. Or you know, told you beforehand that she probably actually couldn't do it. This would really piss me off!

Ick ick ick!!! What in the actual fuck is that response? I'm glad you left a 1 star review because when I was looking for C's outfit I specifically steered away from 2 sellers who had several reviews that said great product but super late. I feel like she should have offered to take back an item that was not customized. Frankly if you couldn't get me what I ordered on time and I was disappointed I certainly lay wouldn't entertain buying anything further from you. Just goes to show that not everyone should own a business. You might have a great product but if you suck at customer service, your business will suffer. Sorry she was such an asshole.
