I would go for a Pandora bracelet if she doesn't have one. They have some inspirationalish charms without it seeming preachy. I personally wouldn't want a wall plaque or home decor stuff unless it was more to my house themes than inspirational.
Last year was the year me and my BFF group all turned 30.
For one we did a surprise night out, made her a photo book, and a girls spa date. (This was also kind of a going away party for her too)
For another I gave her a nice, very simple necklace with her birthstone. When I turned 30 a couple months later, she returned that favour with getting me an Alex and Ani bracelet with my birthstone.
Another lost her dad shortly before her birthday, and then she gave birth to her first right after, so I got her a nice necklace with the words "be strong" on a heart.
This just made me realize the last girl from that group is 30 next month, I'm away for it but I need to get her something!
Anyway, don't know if any of that helps, but since my and H's group is all the same age last year was a non stop 30th birthday party so it was on my mind a lot too haha.

SIL got me an Alex & Ani for my birthday with a compass charm for the meaning behind it. They are a little more simplistic and adjustable than a Pandora.
Also maybe a framed picture of her and A or the both of you if you have a good one. Or even a small photo book of yalls memories through the years.
If you are both sentimental and want to get her something your self is there anything you both used to do just the two of you? Any fun but odd traditions? Two of my girlfriends when we were in high school on friday nights would always go to Pizza Hut and close the restaurant down (helped there was a cute waiter we liked that worked there) When we turned 25 we went one night just for shits and giggles, the cute waiter was there anymore but it was fun. If there events that you used to do and can still do maybe plan a day out with just her doing all of those fun things?

This is more of a funny gift, but for my BFFs 30th I got her a coffee mug with a funny picture of the two of us on it. She is a coffee snob and I knew it was something she would love.

I got my BFF an Alex and Ani path of life bracelet for her 30th and a box to collect wine corks and a sharpie to write when each bottle was consumed/with whom. I remember writing in the card "no shame if most of these are just by you", lol.
Ot a bit, but mine is also in a similar crossroads in life of not loving her job/career and wanting a family but not having a SO. I think it's why she's pulled back on our friendship since LO was born, honestly.

Yeah this has happened too. Though not because of jealousy or anything just us being is SUCH different life phases at the moment. I am waiting and hoping to be aligned again soon. BFF no matter what, we just have a lot less to relate with each other about right now.
Exactly how I see it. I'm hoping that now we're out of the first year madness it gets a bit easier to just meet up for a drink or something!
I dont know how long you have but for my Moms 50th birthday we made a shutterfly book. I had about a dozen friends and family send me a favorite memory/ story and a picture. I put it together and added a few other throwback pictures and quotes

I love Alex and Ani bracelets and I like the idea of arranging something for the two of you to do like all day just spending time together. Etsy has a ton of great jewelry options.
