No real update..doc is behind sitting here waiting. With a lady who brought in her 2 year old. Her mom is obviously going through a check on the new one..older child screaming. Lol, why we don't bring DD.

Soo NT scan was spot in great. And we got to see fingers and toes and hands and feet. This one does not move as much as my DD. She was not as cooperative. The asked if I wanted to take a sneak peek. And well she cant sign off on it but...
ITS A BOY! whoop one for one. Phew!
sdgal yeah labor date twins and both boys!! Oh and our HB was 156.
Is there really any science behind this low HB = boy thing? I'm just curious.
My doctor said yesterday that it seems to be a trend that boys are in the 150's and girls are higher in the 160-170 range. But she said its not a proven science.
I wouldn't paint any nursery based on just the HB.

I have an NT scan this afternoon at 4:30pm. Based on my bloodwork issues (that STILL haven't been resolved) I last-minute requested all of the screening they can offer me.
I'm really excited to get another peek, and hope they will humor me to try and guess what the gender is. I'm just so anxious about this stupid Kell thing that I'm not as excited as I probably would be normally.

That's interesting, sdgal and WineNChocolate! They didn't measure HB for me yesterday so I am so curious! At my NT scan, both babies HBs were I the high 150's.

Everything went well with the NT scan! Still no idea what team we might be, stinker was backwards and bouncing around so much they had a hard time getting the measurements they needed anyway, much less trying to sneak a peek.

I'm trying not to let my nerves get the best of me for our anatomy scan next week. My practice's policy is to send all patients to a specialist for the anatomy scan, so I have no idea what to expect. The ultrasound tech at the office is so reassuring and always talks me through everything, so I really hope the specialist does the same thing.

I haven't had my anatomy scan yet, but I had to go to the fetal medicine specialist for my NT scan and I will be going back for the a/s. I actually loved going to the specialists office because they took so much time going over the scan and reviewing every little thing. I think the anatomy scan is a longer/more detailed u/s too, so hopefully you'll get to see more of the little one!
emilie, That's good to hear! My husband said the same thing, that with a specialist, they're probably more likely to take EXTRA care at setting moms at ease.
You guys are lucky with your specialist for your scans. I will also go to a "specialist" for our anatomy scan but since they aren't a doctor, I don't think they can tell us anything at the scan. They just send all the pictures to your doctor for review.
But I never had the NT scan, so I really don't know. My office doesn't do the NT scan if you do the NIPT.
