If you google plus size maternity, there are several websites that have a pretty comprehensive list and links to shops, I'm too lazy to type it all out!

Here were my go-to's last pregnancy:


Store/Website Name:
1. Jcrew
2. Gap

4. Pea in the pod/Destination Maternity/Motherhood Maternity
5. Online: Asos and Ingrid & Isabel

Casual/Work/Dressy Items:
1. Dress/work pants only. I got a few "Minnie" style pants that I wore with suits. Fabulous.
2. Casual items mostly. T shirts,
3. Casual and essentials (tees, leggings, tank tops)
4. Some casual, some work, some dressy. Offers some pricier designer stuff.
5. Asos: Large variety. I&I: essentials like leggings.

Size Ranges (plus size?):
Not sure.

Item Sizing (runs small, true to size, runs large, etc.):
Not sure

Price Range (Cheap, Moderate, Expensive):
1. Moderate to expensive
2. Cheap to moderate
3. Cheap to moderate
4. Moderate to expensive
5. Asos: cheap. I&I: moderate.

Quality of Items:
1. Higher quality
2. Lower quality (several seams ripped on my gap maternity shirts)
3. Average quality
4. Average to higher quality on some items
5. Asos: cheaper/average. I&I: average.

+1 To Old Navy having decent quality stuff for 1/2 the price of everywhere else.

Store/Website: Target (but they never have a good selection when I need stuff) and Motherhood Maternity were my go-to places with DS because they were close. I really want some Pink Blush items this time because they're adorable.

Casual/Work/Dressy: I think Motherhood Maternity has a decent selection of all types of clothing. Target is mostly casual.

Size ranges: I think Motherhood has a pretty wide range of sizes. I've only seen up to XL at Target.

Item sizing: Target seems to run a little big once you hit Large. I think Motherhood is fairly true to size.

Price range: Both run pretty moderate.

Quality: I think Motherhood has better lasting material.

Random info: Motherhood has much better sales.

Store/Website Name: Pea In The Pod, Old Navy, Target, thred up
Casual/Work/Dressy Items: I got/have most of my work related stuff from Pea in the Pod, causal or causal work from the rest. I got a few cheap maternity T shirts for the weekend and to sleep in. I found a few nice things on thred up- mostly maternity pants that I can alter without paying full price. The quality was decent too, but I wouldn't look at thred up for more than maternity stuff.

Price Range (Cheap, Moderate, Expensive): old navy/target, thred up are pretty cheap, Pea in the Pod is a bit more expensive
Quality of Items: Old navy- cheap, target it depends, Pea in the Pod- good quality
Other Random Store Info: I like a few things I saw recently on H&M's website but I'm holding out on stuff for now. I hope I don't need anymore summery things. I also fell in love with some of the things on pink blush.

Do you find they run big/small? I seem to be right on the edge of two sizes looking at their size chart, and there's a pair of shorts I have my eye on...

I second the Loft and Old Navy. I also like H&M for maternity wear.

I'll throw in Kohl's as well. The selection in-store can be a bit limited, but I got some really good stuff there. Quality I'd probably say is similar to Old Navy & Target. Similar prices as well, if you hit it on a good sale.

I also got a few nicer things at Macy's. The sell Motherhood brand stuff. Pricey but cute and higher quality than the others I mentioned.

I just bought a bunch of stuff from old navy. I'm excited to try their side panel pants because they didn't have those last time I was pregnant. I imagine they will be great post-partum while I'm trying to get back in to normal pants.

I would recommend clothes mentor if you have one in your area. The ones by me have pretty good selection of maternity, oh and it's consignment so not too expensive and the clothes are already broken in.

And I recently tried stitch fix for maternity. I really liked what I got, it is a bit pricey. But you can request for your stylist to send specific pieces. Like I really wanted a pair of maternity jean shorts and a maxi dress and I loved what I got. You can also link a Pinterest board with styles you like so the stylist knows what you might be looking for. I've actually requested a specific brand top and got it.

Thanks for this tip. I may try stitch fix again and be more specific with my stylist.

Store/Website Name: H & M, Verbaudet (French), Prenatal (Italian), if I was in the US- Target, Motherhood Maternity
Casual/Work/Dressy Items: Usually from H&M, the maternity selection is big here and it's pretty cute
Size Ranges (plus size?):I guess xs-xl? I wear a S, and 34-42 in pants. I wear a 36.
Item Sizing (runs small, true to size, runs large, etc.): H&M is true to size for me, I continued to wear a 36 jeans throughout pregnancy. Verbaudet was OK. Prenatal ran a little small, but I find this is normal with Italian sizing. The US things always seem to fit bigger.
Price Range (Cheap, Moderate, Expensive): I'd say H & M and Verbaudet are moderate... Prenatal is moderately expensive. Target could be cheap. Motherhead moderately cheap?
Quality of Items: H & M is good quality as is Prenatal. Target's were OK. Verbaudet is crap.
