I am Facebook friends with one of my sorority sisters who lived in India for a few years, where she birthed and raised her son for the first few years of his life. She posted an article (cannot link FB at work) about how parents in India would give their right arm to provide their children with vaccines to prevent disease. It really put this whole 'debate' into perspective for me. And that is--it's stupid to even discuss it. Vaccinate your kid.
Someone at work said the news is report measles parties where parents get their kids to sleep over at house where one kid has the measles so they can build up the immunity.
I can't imagine willingly subjecting my child to a disease that has serious reprocussions in the way they live their life. :/
